Fighting smart is also a part of git gud. Whoever came up with this strategy is a genius. Even simple craftable sleeping arrow put the boss into sleep with 4 or 5 shots.
godskin duo is actually a really good boss, because it's the only boss in the game sleep works on. so it's clearly an intended mechanic for the fight. well played fromsoft
@@yqisq6966 I cant tell if I'm being stupid or not but I swear it takes me like 5-6 arrows to put one of them to sleep and in that time I take so much damage. Plus the apostle just dodges all my arrows anyways.

i definitely hate them way less now that i know about it lol, might even try and go summonless on the next time i face them

I just used good old crafted sleeping arrow. Pair it with any lightbow with Barrage skill.
