FINALLY A HIGH QUALITY WITCHER 3 CHALLENGE RUN. Really hope there's going to be more challenge runs for witcher 3 as its my favorite game and challenge runs for the game is very rare unlike souls, elden ring, skyrim, etc. Really high quality content and enjoyed it so much!

I think the Aard damage thing is because I'm pretty sure Aard has a perk that levels your damage based on the enemies health, which is why it does so well against the wild hunt

@@calebbraun9505 thats piercing cold that scales with enemy current hp value, and igni is still better since igni burn dmg scales with enemy max hp, which is far better since you wont deal less dmg when an enemy has less hp

The bloody baron is one of the most human characters in gaming. I love the fact that he is such a realistic and flawed person, unlike the majority of characters we get in games.
The first time i played the witcher 3 i ran an igni/yrden build. I would only attack enemies if i was required too. With Griffen armor and runes it was amazing. My wife thought i was silly. I beat the game and then i replayed on deathmarch. On deathmarch i ran a bear school build with rend and decotions. It was amazing how different the runs felt. I love this game.
Having played through Witcher 3 casually, and with any build you can think of.. I truly think sign build is the most powerful. At the start it sucks ass but once you really boost that sign effectiveness anything easily dies to Aard or Igni spam. Sometimes even some Yrden
signs are ridiculously overpowered in this game, and most builds online dont talk about the hidden details about them, like how igni burn dmg scales with enemy max hp, so you can kill level 50 enemies at level 1 in about 1-2 minutes. If you want a real challenge in tw3, try Secondary Weapons only or Pacifist (yes pacifist is possible depending on how you define pacifist, in my case, not dealing any intentional dmg via melee or signs, or intentionally causing an action to deal dmg)
also if you want an easier time with the wild hunt, t4 yrden does the trick if you can keep them in it, deals great dmg, even better paired with t1 explosive quen
@@sweatyvetter its not really op unless you have cat eyes mutation, otherwise you will be dumping thousands of crowns into buying explosive bolts, and if you ever do crossbow only, if you swap your bolt type, your crossbow is reloaded automatically, skipping the animation, you don't have to do it, but there is one boss in particular in the HoS dlc that requires you to do that in order to win
That actually violates one of the rules. To unlock mutagen alterations you need to do a side quest in the DLC. So while I agree with you to a degree, in this case, I disagree.
40:32 the dude you freed from Whoreson's casino wasn't Dudu. It was just a random halfling who was working for the king of beggars. Dudu is a doppler who impersonates a halfling merchant.
Hey I have a question since you have played elden ring can you tell me if witcher 3 on death march is harder or easier than ER, because I want to buy ER but I am not sure if I can beat it? Witcher 3 was a bit of a challenge for me on Death march

For these challenge videos, I like to embellish a little and forge my own story. I mean, anyone who's gonna click this video has likely played the Witcher 3 and already knows the story. So I fudge the narrative here and there for entertainment :)
Sign build is one of the best in the game it's not a challenge. The only thing is really hard in 3rd witcher it's beating the game crossbow only. Game itself is easy

The next gen update really saved your challenge run by buffing Aard to do percentage damage instead of a static 200 if I remember right.

Yeah. I was thinking of doing one with crossbows. But even those seem kinda OP with explosive bolts.

Not if you limit your xp to only the main story… sign build is strong if you have enough points to sink into the perks.
