- In this weeks video I’ll be doing a Kitchen reset. My kitchen is a disaster. I still have some Christmas decor up 🤦♀️
My counters have junk all over and stuff all over the floor.
So I’m going to do some deep clean but mainly I’ll just be tidying, cleaning up and get the kitchen looking good.
I’ll also be putting up some spring decor in my kitchen.

Just watched your video, looks great. I laughed when you said one of Gracyn's husbands, then you caught it. Violet is so adorable. My husband is replacing my basement stairs so he can build a wall and pantry down there so I am emotional support! Good luck to Viviana’s bowling team! Violet is such a cutie! I miss my grand children being that little! The youngest is 4 and there won’t be anymore !
I finally finished my office which used to be a spare bedroom. I went through all paperwork and have an entire container ready to take to the dump when it has a shredder day in the spring. I organized the closet, two bookcases, a desk, a tv stand, and a printer stand. I love walking into the office now because it looks so good. I am so happy to have it done. I did declutter some clothes and some trash. This room was the worst room in the house. Before the office I did the guest bedroom which is also in good shape. I think I will do our master bedroom next which isn’t too bad. Then I plan on doing the hall closets: one large and one small. I love your channel.

Your GRANDBABY Is just BEAUTIFUL. Your kitchen, I absolutely love the space you have, And OMG, your bulbs. I remember you last saying you were having a hard time planting, then I got behind. Anyway,I never found the video of you planting, so I assumed you didn't, And now I see you did, YAY,I cannot wait to see the beautiful colors as they bloom. Ummmm, ya, I'm still cleaning my clutter, after doggos #2surgery, EVERY room is hit.I didn't want to leave her side and she absolutely hates the cone of shame,she was depressed enough,just dealing with the pain and not being able to be a dog. So,I stayed by her side making sure she didn't get into any trouble, which, she did anyways,after Dr. Told me I could take her cone off, cuz I did put it on at nite.But then then I finally let her open her xmas presents, she rough housed and caused it to start hurting, then I'm sure she tried to kiss the pain away, anyway, she's on a ton of Antibiotics, and I'm sure she will be fine,uggggggg

In Georgia, daffodils and my camellias are blooming...a bit ahead from Michigan. But, caring for a 97 year old parent, I'm months behind getting bulbs in, and they're sprouting. So, I'm going to stick them into pots so that they can join the other blooming spring flowers. Congratulations to your daughter. Well done!

I have finally caught up after binge watching your channel for motivation - which you supplied in full, thank you. I think what I appreciate about your channel is what draws me to people like Erica Lucas and April Tandy - yes it's wonderful and so so satisfying to watch someone dig themselves out of a mountain of things - I enjoy that so much - but it's the life that doing that task allows to blossom afterwards which is the reward. The ability to do what you've done over the year or so since you decluttered - focusing on your home and deciding on how you want to live - not on how you didn't want to live with the clutter - that's the real treasure - and watching you put together such a beautifully charming home for you and your family is an absolute treat.
Also, congratulations to your Viv - her dedication to improving her skills is an inspiration - she's marvellous. And your little granddaughter is exquisite - she's just lovely 😊😊

Seeing you clean makes me realize, I gotta get rolling and start my spring cleaning. I have so much to do this spring/ summer/fall. I have planned to
refinish all my living room tables, a bedroom suite, plant my vegetable garden and more perennials in the flower beds. I cant wait to get my patio all together, but the hubby power washes the house and I do the windows before that can happen. I sure miss sitting outside eating my breakfast and drinking my coffee. So there's all my plans along with going camping in June. Thank goodness I retired this winter! Wish me luck!
They call them easels, Jodi. Those smaller size ones are for books yes and for plates or for anything you want plopped up.

Hello from Denmark mona here. I am new. I am growing seedlings in my kitchen. A pumpkin tomatos chili plants and some plants that i dont know the name in English. But it look like a tulıp snd smell and taste like garlic 😊 and in my garden i have so many spring flowers. Snowdrops and some yellow daffodils and tulips flowers. I love love love my garden.
Hi Jodi! Congratulations to Viviana, impressive that the scout wants to keep an eye on her career. Your granddaughter is beautiful! Looks like she has some curls in her hair too. I don’t have much counter space but it still gets junky fast. I have hardwood and tile and I wash it all the time, not like you’re soaking the wood. Use lots of throw and area rugs to keep the dogs from slipping and to keep our feet warm. I wish I had those heated floors, maybe in another life. Thank you for this video.🙂

Violet is an absolut cutie, and as her parents show quite a good taste I’m sure little Miss wanted Hersheys on her icecream! At least she didn’t ask for a little squirt of rum 😂
I am with my father this week, and am very grateful that he went through his overflowing closet with me. He is post-war generation, so he will get rid of nothing if it has any kind of possible use left in it, will squirrel away the clothes my brother declutters (neither his style nor his size, but..🙄) and so on. Some of his things are pre-marriage, so older than fourty years. I once threatened him that I will get him an XXL-coffin and bury him in every piece of clothing he still owns when he dies 😂
Anyways, I was already glad he was willing to look through it all, and I assisted him without pressure, sorted so he knew what he has.. said I would sell some things and donate what is still good, so someone could really get some use out of it instead of the stuff waiting in his closet till it is broken. That kind of convinced him, and he could let go of SOME things. Not much, although he is retired he keeps 30+ dress shirts.. but that was exhausting for both of us nonetheless. But I am very proud of him and told him very often, and now with his sorted clothings and a little space between them, he is happy and I love that 💜

My tete - a- tete daffodils are already flowering and there are plenty of leaves on my tulips, although no flowers as yet. can't wait to get out in the back garden but still a little too chilly here in Shropshire, England. Youre kitchen looks great and so glad to hear your grand children are feeling better. Viv is doing so well too!

Oh my, I have been taking advantage of the warm weather here in northern Indiana to clean out some flower beds and start trimming trees and cleaning stuff out. I bought some solar lights for in the tree by the patio. Lol. Planting peas in the next couple weeks. Ive never done well with a "spring" garden, but trying to learn.

Our daffodils here in nc have already bloomed and gone. The first teeny bit of warm weather and they bloom. It's still in the 30s at night, sometimes 70 during the day and sometimes 40....our weather is crazy.

I had a hugely busy weekend, (and week last week) that my kitchen became a mess...
This morning I was up and at it....got washed & dressed, fed me and my cat, did his meds, sent him outside!, had a tidy of the kitchen...with 5 mins before leaving for work...I'll shine the sink...
.go to put the sponge in plughole...and WHOLE THING MOVES!.....URM that's not supposed to happen...(you know what that means..the pipe underneath isn't connected...
The screwhead had got rusty and broke off... THANKFULLY I had dislodged it after I did the sides etc ..
Checked no water on shelf under sink ..nope (#phew),
Txt my builder neighbour.....who isn't home till tomorrow evening 😬😕
Went did client clean...
Then popped to the local plumbers merchants... They sold me a whole sink kit...
Had lunch, cleared out under sink, tried to turn myself into a plumber...but I don't have the tools to turn the collar to pull out the plastic sink bit 🙄😞
So the job will have to wait for my neighbour tomorrow evening...I for now have stuck a sign on tap to remind me NOT to use the sink!
This evening my friends parcel came from Georgia, Atlanta... So I opened it, she did warn me it will be green ...
She sent me a box of St. Patrick's Day decorations!!!.. which in the UK, the shops don't have anything in, apart from Easter things and mothers day and valentine's day stuff (which has now passed!)
So tonight I decorated my house for St Patrick's Day!..
(I wouldn't usually until march 1st!)
Just one flaw....my builder neighbour may think I'm nuts tomorrow evening 😂, and will probably have to explain 😂
I'll decorate for SPRING/Easter over the weekend
Anyway it's great to see the bulbs poking through...tip..go pick those leaves up...tidy home for SLUGS...who have DEVOURED my daffodil leaves in MY garden 😞
I bought some plug plants from my local garden centre the other day, which I need to also pot on this weekend!...but can't acclimatise them until all the risk of cold weather has passed .. before I can properly plant them out!

That's awesome about your daughter Viviana!! My next door neighbor was a long time girls bowling coach for a local university where I live. There are definitely scholarships for the best players. I hope she continues to do well and has an opportunity to get discounted education and bowl in college! Having a 'tribe' in college is such a good way to make friends too!.

I have a few bins in the basement that I use as a drop off place for my couponing items until I have time to put it where it belongs. This way it’s not cluttering up my home. Oh how I understand getting the grandbabys cold. I have not been sick in years. I keep my grandbaby who's 2 now, I've been sick 3 times with colds, covid, asthmatic bronchitis, long covid. Laryngitis for 4 months. But still babysitting every day.❤❤❤❤
