Coming back to the game after having a loong while, and it seems everything changed! Last time i played i stacked health on all companion slots and augument pet was the way to go 🙃 Watching this gives me a good idea of what i need to hunt for now 🤗
I Feel you on that, I'm just coming back, and last time i played the starting area was the Blacklake District, max level 70, and exp based leveling. It's a whole new game now 🤯🤯
I might be late on this. But for the intimidating presence feat. It does not say that you would lose it. You simply gain a new effect upon the base version of the class mechanic. Before yes it was stated you would lose it before the buffs. But not now. It is now a trade off between Maximum survivability when on the aggressive and or mobbing. Or Free Threat ring that stacks with said ring. Will test if I can afford to drop aggro ring altogether to fit that debuff ring or something else
@@Aragon- thank-you for pointing that out. So for me I am around 67% average during combat, for my awareness, I could only get it closer feasibly with the gden deep crow egg. Which seems I'll have to wait until 90k to aquire. So stacking awareness isn't feasible yet. So I have to stack deflect and deflect severity, it works a lot better than trying to stack awareness for mitigation on the board. Edit: is to isn't.
Another good arti set for tanks is the blue dragon set from dragon hunt, very easy to proc as a paladin, will certainly proc more than Tiamat (by the way the 8% resist is a proc too right, not 100% up?), although stacks are a little too fast to go... though with the addition of the Topaz ring you get massive deflect severity boosts
dragon hunt set just not worth it. You can't maintain the stacks. Mythic tiamat set is far more reliable, yes the damage resist is also with the proc, but it is pretty much a full 50% uptime on 8% crit avoide and 8% damage resist
@@Aragon- IDK, I've been Smite cancelling so much, I find it easy to keep up the stacks, especially since aggro isn't going to matter too much if you miss 1 or 2 at-wills once every few seconds. The stacks refresh, so once you have 3 stacks, you only need to fake Smite once every 3 seconds.
Both sets are bad, just use tentacle rod set. 3% defense all the time and does dmg to help with agro and its cheaper. And topaz trash, no useful stats and if you're not using your daily you're not playing correctly.
@divitsingh6521 wrong 100 mag every 10 secs is not negligible, basically an extra encounter. I can also guarantee you're not keeping up blue dragon stacks on any class, 5 secs is way faster than you think and pally doesn't have the regen to maintain it while also playing mechanics.
Hey bud appreciate you and the time you put in ❤️. I copied this build and love it my question is I can I use this build on mdwp or should I make a new load out
For mount equip power wouldn’t ferocity or providence help support the group more because you will be hit all the time I know it’s not a 100% uptime like the auras but in terms of damage min/max id imagine ferocity would be bis
Oh gotcha what a strange power so I guess dps would need to equip ferocity or providence to have an effect to their damage if it does prove to give more damage than any other option thanks for clarifying
Cant you make a overall playthrough build for the paladin. Not just the trials or dungeons. The best overall play though the game as a paladin tank. That would be super helpfull for us new tank players Who Are no where near end game yet :) love your content 🙏
I think that he means for campaigns and whatnot, so basically a dps build as a tanker. With a budget, since not everyone can afford the best dps companions haha.
I am surprised that they didn't get into tanks (did they?); it's almost impossible to find tanks to do runs at the game rn. Do they have any plans to address that?
start playing as a tank, and problem solved. I agree that it is an issue, and at least in average level content, they could do something, like give a Dps a buff to defense stats and extra threat and make them the tank, instead of having everyone sit in queue forever
@@Aragon- Thank you for your reply and all the great content. I am following your end-game wizard recipe and it is working out great. Buffing other classes for average content is one reasonable albeit partial solution. From more than a decade of work in social sciences I can tell you that authority cannot control "the market", only influence it; i.e., Playing tanks should be incentivized not advised. Tanks are major play makers for the game, and have a very unique leadership role, this should be appropriately reflected in their rewards beyond 5-6k U-AD in RQs. Some suggestions: - Giving Tanks access to special gear/enchantments/companions/mounts for the successful completion of a set number of endgame runs (maybe a milestone every 50 run). - Giving players the ability to vote for how good the tank was, their guidance and leadership during the high-level run and reward the tanks at certain milestones. I know NW is an old game, we shouldn't expect too much from it but resolving this choke point would really smooth the experience for a majority of the players.
I slotted the same insignia into Neverwinter's Hand as you have it here and it gave me a different bonus. Can you explain please? It gave me Gladiator's Guile with those insignia slotted as you have it here. Thank you.
What is the actual Cooldown reduction for Tacticians? I use the 'heal on XXX' and it seems to be pretty significant amount of health. I'm curious how this all balances
Heya, I have an odd question. I run three different paladin toons (Aasimar, Met Dragonborn, and Renegade Drow). Two of my toons work great with Tab+Shift for big shield; however, the Metallic Dragonborn suffers from a Tab-Shift big shield that hangs up on the right (in the trial and elsewhere including training room). No matter where I am or how careful I position this toon, the big shield always ends up on the right side, not in front where the boss is, so I do not get full protection and get more stacks. Any ideas how to correct this? I really like this toon otherwise.
Depends on the fight, paladin will be great in this trial because of the feat changes and they were already really good in aoe fights. They struggled a lot with agro and had survivability issues because of it, they had to spam divinity to hold agro but with changes they can use the circle of divinity shield more often. Fighters have great survivability but lack in aoe a bit, enforced doesn't do magnitude dmg so it barely holds adds attention for long, only other encounters is kv and line breaker. Kv requires a dps to stay by the tank which is always a struggle eith inexperienced groups, linebreaker aoe is small and directional. Besides that they have retaliate which holds agro on all adds usually but very small aoe. For single target fighter is great. For survivability there's no better class than fighter, they get 25% stats for digging in and have that shield ready to go on command. I don't play barb tank so idk but they don't seem that great in this new trial because the aoe aspect but they have a ton of survivability.
I've seen a Pally tank (Bonked) running around who's 80k lvl, with very standard gear, who's got over 2million hit-points without a ward bonus. My 90k pally with all endgame gear tops out at 1.4 mil hitpoints.. How is this even possible Mr A?
Does anybody know a good build (weapons armor, companions, etc.) that I should use for damage when I’m running around solo and just doing quests for adventures and campaigns, and not group stuff. It takes FFFFOOORRREEEEVVVEERRR to kill stuff.
Hi ! I'm getting told Paladin Tanks are the worst and can't survive in MDWP. I think the rework is still not enough. Nobody even wants them in ADWP. Not sure what the issue is? Maybe someone can explain why Pally Tank is still not viable? ( I'm giving up on mine, going GF)

Ty for tips, i dont stack awareness, i literally just backup while shielding, or pop a cooldown to adjust, actual awareness is is more important.
bosses have full combat advantage against you regardless of your positioning. So you need it to directly reduce their damage.

Great guide! Tell me, which healer will be the most in demand in m27?
Bard + Paladin is usually most wanted for trials
I'm told Warlock... lol
nice guide. can u do a barbarian tank guide? i cant find a good guide for this
i will do
For arms what about the Mastered Duergar Mercenary's Gauntlets? Either regular or +1. They give you 1425-1500 Awareness and incoming healing bonus.
Hey, how about Vistani set? Is it any good?
No one seems to give some love to this little gem anymore...
If you don't need the survivability, sure you can use, but healers generally use it, and they do not stack

only with module 27 will you be able to use the new bonuses

Tacticians is 5s on all encounters that are on cooldown. Can go to 7.5s if you have 2 of them and 8.75s if you have 3
Why do you recommend the pants with Herald's Decree? Is the tooltip incorrect? It seems you would generally have at least 1 teammate within 30'.
It doesn't work how it says. You just need to have at least one party member further than 30ft and you gain the bonus
@@Aragon-Similar issue to the +Power% gear where at least 1 > 30' triggers then.

legacy buffs most likely. Feats from before mod 16 change, that some people have as bugged on their characters until they retrain them.
Ahh that makes sense. I only came to the game in mod 16 so wasn't aware of that..
Is there a real difference between the Mez renegade and the regular drow as far as the dark fire racial?
yes
