One of the best can crushers I have seen! Use your exhaust air to move the can out of the way. Great job!
Thanks for the tip!
This will run on air.
Yes compressed air.
Dig it. Stay awesome.
Should run the exhaust behind the can through the wall so when your done crushing the exhaust blows the can off the platform ,10-4?
Great idea. Just didn't want to mess with it.
Nice work! Maybe add a limited spring hinge to tip over the smashed cans for vertical use? 🤔
Where did u get the exhaust port fittings
Fright Props is a great online store where I got everything but the cylinder and switch. www.frightprops.com/pneumatics.html
Thank you
Gread device - I am so tired of stomping on my cans and half of them flying across the kitchen...
Metal that thick should have some bevels ground down to get more filler material in. Looks awesome though!
How many cycles do you get from one Co2 cylinder?
Don Lunney - Not many, 20-30 before it doesn't smash completely. I run it off a compressor, the bottle was just for giggles.
What size was that tank ? Or did I miss you mentioning it? I would assume a bigger tank will give me more working time ?
What do you think you have into it? Would you be willing to make another one for sale?
Dave Dellis - I forget, maybe $150. No, won't be making another, but thanks for your interest!
can you post the contact info for the guy that you used to cut the steel?
Wish someone list part numbers and names of the pneumatic cylinder and valve.
It's a Bimbo 2 1/2" cylinder with a 6" stroke. About $45 on Ebay IIRC.
Can you make me a puck ?
Unfortunately not, I had a local machine shop so the work for me.
@@sed6 Gotcha. Seems all of these pucks are one offs.
Nice Job Sed!
