Last I time checked being American means nothing since anyone can show up and declare themselves as such and boom, citizenship. There is no unified culture, identity, people, or even motivation to serve the nation they are in since that would involve prioritizing something other than oneself. Once upon a time there were unifying factors that made this country great but it has all been undone since individuals such as yourself saw the murder of this unified civilization and identity as the “moral” and “right” thing to do.
Conservatives are liberals driving at the speed limit who care as much about their people as a slaver does with his slaves. If one wants a functional civilization or America when it was still alive again, you have to go back to what it once was. Or one can recognize the fundamental truths that exist within all functional civilizations and build something entirely new with such knowledge.
The fact that he sacrificed those around him to ultimately gain nothing for himself, yet built an empire founded on fascism and racism to ensure the security of others was the most selfless act Shrek has ever committed in the sagas.
He went through the pain so that no one else had to. He is what we should all strive to be

Not really. Pretty much all the racism I've ever witnessed in NYC is black people attacking Asians for fun every summer. Black people attacking Jews in Brooklyn. The insane face slashings in 2015 (60 in 90 days, all black in white females), and the knockout game I witnessed three times on my own block in Manhattan. Obviously as well the racism of affirmative action of course. I don't think any of those perpetrators spent any time noticing how it impacts them, if it did at all. They loved it and had a lot of fun hurting people because of their race.
