I knew you would somehow make this picture beautiful! I have seen so many versions, and they have been so disappointing, they are always so dark. Your work always has some life/light to it! Thank you Karen! 💖💖
I am working on the other page on the left..I really enjoy this book , more than the others..so glad you are working with Distress Inks..you are a delight to watch..😀💕
Thanks for the great videos! Because of you, I ordered some Distress Ink. They came today. I've already tried a few out. There certainly is a learning curve with them!
It's beautiful, but those colored pencils are not for sale in my country. Can you please tell me which colors I could use with prismacolor premier? I would be very grateful to you. I really want to make this picture, but I'm not sure what colors to take.
@@ZucchiniKitty Thank you very much, that's very kind of you. The combination of colored pencil and distress ink is beautiful. I'm going to try this too.
I almost did this page, instead I decided to tackle a 2 pager, I am coloring the ants carrying the old houses, such an imagination Kerby has. Going to make some popcorn and come back and watch you. 💖💖
Thank you so much Carol, no I don't but I do love the outdoors and hike/walk alot in woods, on mountains and I also love to garden... it kind of rubs off in my coloring
Q tips will hold to much ink giving you a blochy effect and not blend smoothly, but you could try them out and see if you like the effect it gives you, and if you like it by all means have fun with it. Take care
Sorry to be a pest with another question as to what you are using but I do think all the really small details makes a big difference in the outcome of the picture....when you was using the white posca pen for the dots in the eyes... was that a brush tip or plastic tip....it was sooo small! I thought I had all of the sizes but I was wrong 😂

Karen, you are a master with those distressed inks. I have like 24 colors but I am so afraid to use them in any of my books for fear ill mess up my book....LOL I know that sounds foolish but it's true.
@@ZucchiniKitty I have a cheap set of pastels and Prismas, and have been thinking of getting Inktense. Watching your videos, I love what you do with Ink. Plus, it just looks fun 😁. Your pictures are gorgeous, color palettes stunning.
I can and have done the same as your distress ink coloring, by using simple pastels for a quarter of the price. Mine turned out just as terrific too.
I love watching you work with the distress inks, you are very talented
Thank you so much Pam
You are the best at using distress ink . I am waiting every day for your new video. 💕
