2k21 = broken PF
2k22 = midget builds
2k23 = 6’8
2k24 = 6’6
And everyone plays that same build and I don’t blame them ($100 for a build) so people want a build that does everything. Like 4 tries and they can’t get it right.

Because the community is always fragmented we allow 2k to commit murder each year. I think 2k is puporsly pushing content creators away because they're critical, and they break aspects of the game. Thats why so much marketing goes to celebs. They want 2k creators gone and they make up the loss with casuals who care that Lil durk is in the game. The goal is to get rid of creators so they can fully dedicate it to casuals and the ones who spend money mindlessly.

Blessup Folk! smh I cant believe Ive havnt played 2k24 since January. but last year the roll out was super high....and I ended up in 2kday in bklyn just blocks from where i lived, it was dope but a head scratcher at the same time. and it was from a tweet from uncle demi posting he was in bklyn for 2k2day....before I knew it I was right there and for "Free" they had so much things there, parallel to content creators....but one thing, there was no promotion or announcement, so the crowd was small for a huge space. it was a dope experience, but why waste so much money on that when the promotion and crowd wasnt executed the way it seemed. and it was all day through the night. but what theyre doing for 2k25 rollout is old and need to evolve.

I'm a Boston fan but that cover reveal is absolute trash. I didn't realize the auction house was actually fun until it was gone. Sniping some good cards for couple hours became addictive and as fun as playing the game
Sometimes I only have an hour to play a quick game in the rec…. First I have to go travel to Gatorade facility… then travel to rec then wait hella long to get a team, just to finally start a game and after about 2 quarters kicked out due to 2k servers….. smh.. (ps.. if so many players are really on 2k why is there usually an AI on my team or as my matchup opponent)… I’m tired of 2k

Hey BRUTE, I appreciate the discussion you, AllCity, and Jay had about 2K and their recent performance. I won't be buying NBA2K25. For me to reconsider, they would need to do a complete 180 in terms of what they offer for the price, including their VC prices.
The issue, as you guys mentioned, is that despite the criticisms, everyone, including content creators, will still end up buying the game. It's like going back to an abusive relationship; we keep getting mistreated but still return every year. By continuing to buy the game, we're essentially incentivizing 2K to maintain their current practices.
If content creators like yourselves were to take a stand and say, "Enough is enough," and start playing and promoting other games, it could make a significant impact. Imagine if everyone started playing the new EA college football game instead. If 2K's sales tank, they'd be forced to change their approach. The only way to prompt real change is by hitting their pocketbooks.
But if we keep buying the game year after year, nothing will change. We'll continue to get the same recycled content-clothes, shoes, tattoos, mascots-without any real improvements. It's time to stop buying the games and move on to something else. Then, if 2K eventually changes, we can cautiously check out their new product to see if it's worth our time and money
They should bring back pre game shoot around in rec and pro am disappointing they took it out and they should make player who grinding no money spent easier period
Easy fix:remove attribute requirements from jump shots and dribbles so you can’t be 1 point off of tmac base so you can save yourself from making another build

situation only. need it to be realistic.. and 2k is realistic.. if anything you cant do all the real thing in the game you can in real life.. but with what it has, its as realistic as it can be. the game part is the shooting moreso than anything but not even... the build system holds everything together for me because its in you, and therefore the you is an extension of your player.. i just think people should study basketball to make better builds and build better basketball habits.. not 2k habits. the cheesing are exploits that catch up to you one day if not every other day you matched up with a player with real real basketball iq.. and know what theyre doing.. then you believe its the game but its the player and or you sorry but ill spoil it. people under 6'5 have interior defense.. bigs can dribble and shoot, and people know how to protect the ball from spamming steal as well as get open layups through the traffic with contact or not no matter the defender.. its really just basketbal and ill i will say... its a time and a place... 7'0 big aint anything... there is an answer for everything!!!!

This year they realized they gotta make their money on the front end due to the major L they took last year with pre orders being so low and everyone gamesharing the game yea they get more player's but they miss out on millions of dollars in pre order money and that dont go well with Ronnie's idea of marketing . There are plenty of ginormous games under the take two interactive umbrella including 2k somehow gta red dead get more updates and attention from devs then 2k from their devs also they share funds being that they all have the same parent company but somehow 2k claims they never make enough money evry year. I say we continue this boycott and that we give up on the 2k devs the same way they did
The only problem wrong with 2k this year is defense needs a hug buff all around .
Your comment let's me know you're not ELITE....BECAUSE It's not even possible to perform simple back and forth dribbles between the legs PRECISELY in these 2KS TODAY. These new 2ks you have to look for a UGLY WEAK spam animation just to perform a simple move like back and forth between the legs AND STILL THE MECHANIC WILL GIVE YOU RANDOM DRIBBLE MOVES SMH. A shame. It was simple and made sense back then in NBA 2K14. In real life, to dribble between the legs, you dribble the ball diagonally between your legs so dribbling between your legs should not be left or right on the right analog, but instead ↘️↙️. Makes sense right?! Crossovers should be ➡️⬅️ as it was for YEARS. Behind the back should be ⬇️ and you should be able to dribble behind your back as many times as you want without performing random dribble moves AND without dribbling out of spot or your place. Try to dribble behind your back repeatedly in NBA 2K24 AND YOU'LL JUST BE DRIBBLING OUT OF PLACE AND PERFORMING RANDOM MOVES SMHHHH....
