I'm not the world's biggest french fry fan, but I tried something that turned out really good. I took leftover fries, probably refrigerated, I don't remember. I tore them in small pieces, maybe in thirds. I put them on my omelette right away after adding the eggs to the pan. I added black pepper. When the eggs were set and the fries heated I added Velveeta and melted it a little. The Velveeta finished melting when I folded the omelette in half. It turned out so good! I don't like wasting food, either. This works. I haven't made it very many times because I don't often get fries, but sometimes they just come with stuff.
