Can you tell us about your $169 budget projector? For example: Why did you select it? Was it easy to setup? What is your experience with it, I.e., the quality of the image, etc. How about a brief behind the scene tour of your studio? What would you do differently?
Thanks for the comment! First off, studio is a bit generous lol. It's just my garage that I've tried to beautify. I've been meaning to do a comprehensive video about how/why I did things the way I did. It's still pretty new, so I haven't come across any major issues that I wish I had done differently. As far as the projector, I ultimately got tired of researching, looking, and trying to decide what I wanted. I was torn between a higher end used projector on ebay or a brand new cheaper one on Amazon. I wasn't in the position to splurge on a brand new high end projector so started narrowing down projectors on Amazon that had high lumens and good brightness. You never quite know if the descriptions are accurate though. The reviews looked good, specs looked good, and the price was right. Took a chance and happy so far with it. Figured worst case I could always return it. It supports 4k but its only a native 1080p projector. Overall I have been very happy with the brightness and image quality. This is the exact one I bought: amzn.to/4eU95Uy
I, too, am doing a garage conversion. My “Sim studio” still has to function as a garage to house one vehicle and a golf cart. I got the spousal approval based on that agreement. I have been designing and redesigning the space for the past 3-4 months and just before Christmas pulled the trigger on a Net Return package. It has remained boxed until 7 containers of Christmas decorations were put in the attic. So, here is where I am today: The garage has been reorganized and cleaned up. The Square LM should arrive next week, along with the gym mats. I have my eye on an upgraded Asus laptop to handle the specs for the Square and GSPro. I have been looking at Ebay and Amazon for a projector, but will probably just use a large t.v. for a short time. That is why I was interested in your projector experience. My impact screen will be 8’ wide and 7.50’ in height. Hitting area from impact screen will be approx. 8 feet. Do you think your projector could produce an image to fill the screen? I know you have a connection to The Villages, so I’m genuinely interested in your experience and success. Would love to talk to you at your convenience about your Square LM journey and experiences. I try not to miss your vids. Thanks,
@ so annoying as it looks pretty damn accurate now. Will ask a friend to do the update on their computer for me. Excited to practice 150yds and in on my game with it, and for the kids to play awesome golf on it 🤙

Thx it would be helpful to some of us if you walk us through how to do the updates. Thank you
Check out “Triple Bogey Golf”. His video shows him going through the updates!
@@HoselRocketGolf will do thx bro
Make sure you have windows, I can’t do the update as I have a MacBook Pro 😡
@@DoctorRalphBugelmein Yeah windows only unfortunately for this one!

Awesome Golf can now be played - without a "connector" Awesome is more "fun" to play than GSPro. GSPro is all work no play
Happy for those who enjoy Awesome Golf! But there’s no comparison to GSPro…
@@HoselRocketGolf agreed. Awesome Golf isn't even close to GS Pro.
@MikeSoutham yup!!
