Minecraft - Warden Defeated | Hard Difficulty, No Armor, No Splash Potions, No Enderpearls

- Hey guys I'm back again!... Sorry for not being so consistent.
Anyway, back in my oldest video ( • Minecraft - Warden Def... ) a viewer said I cheated and I can not use splash potions or enderpearls. I took that as a challenge.
This is on HARD Difficulty, so the Warden is doing the most damage he can possibly deal.
Inventory:
Unbreaking 3 Shield
Sharpness 5 Wooden Sword
16x (only 8 were used)
5x Max Potions of Turtle Master
1x Strength 2 Potion
1x Regeneration Potion

No inventory items, not even shield, just fists
Early game scenario. You have an iron chestplate and helmet and a stone axe and shield. You get a Notch apple as though you found one in a chest and half a stack of whatever non-steak or golden carrot food you want. That might be impossible, but you’ve impressed me so far. Good luck.
The reason why there isn’t a “Sharpness 5 wooden sword” in the title is because it couldn’t fit in the title… for anyone wondering

I wonder what a warden fight with only pre-nether/end gear looks like? Basically only only diamond (or lower if that makes it too easy) armor, a diamond sword, ender pearls, and steak/gaps. With the steak/gapple combo I'm thinking it's probably possible, but it'd definitely be hard completely potionless, even with armor. Maybe it could be bowless too if bow is too cheesy
Can have gaps, enchanted armor and even notch apples before entering the Nether

Can steal healing potions from witches if you kill them as they drink one.
Can get brewing stand from villages, but no blaze powder means you can't upgrade your health potions nor make them splash. In fact, no powder renders the brewing stand fully useless.
Ancient cities give you regen II pots, if that can be of any help.
I can't think of any way to get strenght, let alone resistance though...
A continuation of this comment, I have answered my own question! Using only an iron axe, a shield, golden apples and a few suspicious (saturation) stews, I've done it armorless, enchantless and potionless!
He really is pot pvping against the Warden, I'm actually surprised Mojang made a mob this strong

If someone says no potions that would basically be impossible,because of the regen and resistance and stuff,you literally cannot do it any lower than this,can you?

What texture pack do you use for the 64x swords? It looks like faithful but your swords only have 64x resolution except everything else

Finally someone who used turtle master
this is a prime example imo of how the sonic blast made the warden weaker. if the solution had been instead it crawling through/up blocks to punch while yes it would have had to run to get to players, it would have focused more on a main heavy hit instead of choosing the weaker blast constantly
The Sonic Boom is More Effective if you have Top Tier Armour cuz the Melee Blow is Lessened but the Sonic Boom Stays Constant. But I See What you mean though, with Regen 2, it Can Easily be Negated
If you mess up your resistance potions, sonic boom can really put you in bad situations. Plus if the Warden didn't have that, players would most likely outrun and have an even easier time regaining health

With pearls, notch apples, strength 2 and regeneration 2 pots it might be possible

Quite easy. Just use dripstone from high up above :) I did it before was very quick

Dig under it as it’s spawning and once it’s trapped throw a bucket of lava over it

I like that you mostly use renewable resources, such as no Enchanted Apples, and having no Splash really does switch things up.
I believe all his videos, aside the netherite tools ones, contain solely renewable ressources. Could be wrong though
@@raphaeld4313 With Netherite he could put Mending on it so it's virtually never lost, but oh well that's besides the point; I find it cool that in spite of the extreme conditions, he isn't just scarfing Notch Apples to win, it's really cool to see such a thing as it inspires me to maybe do the same, maybe, I like challenging myself too.

wow ur pro! now no armor no potions no shield no gapples or god apples no enderpearls no anything and 1v1 the warden fairly in its own territory. because the warden itself doesnt use anything ... so fighting him with absolutely nothing is what i call fair.
The warden has over 500 hp, that is already enough to satisfy it, not to mention it can 1 hit full diamond or netherite
In hard mode, Warden hits for 45 damage with meelee attack, and 15 damage with sonic boom. Along with having 500 HP reguardless of difficulty.
A player hits for 1 damage with its fist and has 20 HP.
No inventory isn't exactly a fair fight 😅

Have you considered using an axe instead of a sword? I deals more damage and you can get 1 hit energy once in a while anyway.
He gets 2 crits a time more damage than axe
More DPS overall, sword does more damage
It would only be effective if you landed your first hit with an axe and then immediatly switched to sword to land one or two more criticals. If you can't do this consistently and are also inconvenienced by one more slot taken away, it's better to just go for the sword

The Waredn bypasses armor, so the damage output is the same with and without armour.
Only the sonic boom. Melee attack is effected by armor

@@abxy_real_official_since2020 Yes, but that's because he plays well, as a melee hit will be 3x the damage, so he's purposefully getting sonic boomed instead
Even with the game's best armor, the meelee attack still has more dps than sonic boom. Warden can land 3 meelee attacks in the time it takes to unleash one sonic boom and then cooldown

I think thats cheating because you said no armour and hard difficulty but dude the warden damage in hard is 22.5 hearts and he didnt one shot you?? How???
Because 20% of 45 attack damage is 9 attack damage, which matches the 4.5 hearts you see him taking per meelee hit. There is no cheating, it's just maths.

What a joke, you are still cheating. Darkness is infinite when the warden is chasing you.
Edit: also the path would have other shrikers that spawn multiple wardens while you are "retreating" its impossible to kill a warden naturally without your cheats.

It's written in black on white that shriekers cannot summon the Warden while another one is too close. Plus there is an option in the settings to negate darkness
