I think they look good I just ordered a set for my checkmate.. black of course.. my tso 2 showed up today. So my tso gets handed down to my son … when I looked at the tso2 today the trigger does in fact seem heavier. Just like with yours. We will have to put rounds down range to see how it breaks in. The slide is a lot smoother on my tso as well. I’d guess there’s four maybe five thousand rounds through that. My checkmate does not have as light of a trigger as my tso but the slide is as smooth.. I think only reason I got the tso2 is because it comes with the fat safety on the right side (for lefty’s which I am) I think if I would of been able to find one in stock I would of just ordered it not bought another gun.
Thank you. I’m very satisfied with TS2O. Price is reasonable. I wish I didn’t buy the racing green and went directly to orange. But orange was released much later, you know.
@@9mmtactical what is the real deal breaker for you, why you wished you didnt buy the green first? What is better compared to green (before mods)? I'm currently deciding if i want to buy the racing green or the orange.
How have you found the durability of the cerakote coating after active use? Cerakote is often pretty easily chipped / worn, and I am wondering how well it lasts on these grips. Like do you eventually start seeing the raw brass in some spots?
@rodrigoastudillo7784 light is hard. You’ll need to buy a rail adapter from cz custom and drill and tap it to the dust cover which I don’t think is worth it.
Pardon my ignorance... I have a Shadow 2 and hate the blue grips. I have been shopping for a better alternative and I believe I will go with the same grips you show here. I am also Canadian so we are limited to magazine sizes and don't have a lot of the aftermarket stuff you guys get in the US. My question.... when you added the magwell, you also added that orange, extended baseplate for your magazine.... does that just bolt to the bottom of your factory magazines to allow the extra length needed to slam it into the receiver or does it also add rounds to the magazine? I have no interest in extra rounds due to our laws but the added length is what I want.
You’re fine to add a base plate to your Cz shadow 2 in Canada. The magazines are pinned from an indentation in the metal on the side of the magazine not allowing the follower to go down any further. The baseplate will not add any rounds to the magazine because I believe a lot of them I’ve seen in Canada are just solid pieces of metal that don’t allow anymore rounds anyways. I live in Canada and own a Cz shadow 2 optic ready
Looking at changing out my ts2 blue grips and magwell and looking at these how do you like the added weight im going back and fourth between the aluminum and brass
Unfortunately I don’t have deep bronze. I only have racing green. I think definitely orange is better than racing green. As for deep bronze, the difference is probably less noticeable. If you need to decide one between them, I’d recommend to go with orange. I just don’t like the bronze color :)
Check out this video of mine - th-cam.com/video/M8dsH2YmZXc/w-d-xo.html It’s a stock shadow 2, orange version. Near the end of the video it shows how to install a magwell. Hope it helps.
I wasn't too sure...but then saw the finished look. Wow! Looks amazing!

IDK, it seems borderline criminal to replace the original grips. The orange looks so epic IMO.
They have no grip though I almost dropped my Shadow 2 with the original blue grips
@CenlaSelfDefenseConcepts +1! If you don’t like heavy weight then G10 will be much better than the factory aluminum.
Lok also makes the orange grips if that’s what you want?
man i want your collection. Great job brotha!

@@MrJasperDJ orange is a bull barrel. Trigger’s pre travel feels more responsive than the green.
Or you could cerakote the OG grips and flare
Cool video brother, i just got a shadow 2 today
Congrats!
Can you please tell us exactly what to order for the same setup as each grip has multiple options that we are not fimiliar with 🙏🏽

Yeah. After some decent amount of usage you will see the brass in some spots. It’s inevitable.
Can you mount Optics? Excellent video!
Yes you can do frame mounting if you buy a frame mount from Cajun or cz custom.

Do you want to sell the old orange grips and mag well?
How much does it weight, with the Lok gripes.

It also adds rounds. So if your local law doesn’t allow that, you’d have to find extended but +0 round plate.

Stock CZ base pads and CZ +0 will work as well correct?
Thanks for the video. Which thumb rest do you have installed? Where did you buy it?
From Armory Craft.
My S2 has an incredible trigger. 2.1 lbs from factory.
I need the short grip and TSO Magwell too, do you think this also fit to my SP01, not shadow
Looking at changing out my ts2 blue grips and magwell and looking at these how do you like the added weight im going back and fourth between the aluminum and brass
I always prefer heavy frames. Hands down on brass. less perceived recoil.
@@9mmtactical ok definitely will be going black cerekote the brass is a little bright for My liking . How has the finish held up
@hometheateraddict9583 it’s been holding up quite good for me. Well, I haven’t been abusing them either.
Does this fit within the box for IPSC Standard?
yes, add msgwell, grip, trigger upgrade, you can still shoot
Is it possible to do an SRO direct cut for the TSO 2 ? Thanks
Yes there are companies out there that can do it. You can ask primarymachine.com.
Sir mag kano grips brass panel and magwell for cz ts2 @@9mmtactical
@@9mmtactical primary did mine and it was fantastic work
can you run the short grips without the mag well for Carry optics?
What base plates or mags do you have to run to fit with the magwell ?
Base plates made by springer precision. You can check out their website.
Hmmm not sure. It’s better to check their product description or shoot them a msg.
Where did you get the orange trigger? Thanks!
Armory Craft. But you need to check it out everyday cuz this thing becomes in stock very rarely and goes really fast.
Hey buddy. Great review on the grip. I’m trying to get my hands on a ts2o. Could i ask where you got yours from?
I got mine from cz custom.
Looks like a majorette skirt to me
Armory craft trigger shoe?
Yes
You don't "upgrade" this pistol, you namby pamby, one merely reconfigures it -.-
😂
What do you mean?
I upgraded my gun with bigger bullits…. 🫵🏼😬
is the hammer on the TS2 Orange bigger than the TSO TS2 regular ones?
No. Just slightly different shape.
how much does that change the weight of the pistol ?
Gotta be drastic, it's already a heavy gun
Hello! Do you know, whether this Magwell fits IPSC Standard box?
Sorry I haven’t tried. Not sure about that. However, this magwell isn’t bigger than what comes with the gun out of the box.
@@9mmtactical Thanks!

which base pads are you using?
From Springer Precision. Their extended pad for CZ.
what mag extensions are you running
They are from Springer Precision.
How are that lok grips compared to the original ones
Heavy, aggressive checkerings. Very good.
Not one video on TH-cam showing how to install magwell on a stock shadow 2.
Useless.
All the vids show it replacing an existing magwell...
