Being an old fart does anyone know if this album will be released on CD or only digital formats? On Nikki's webpage it only has digitial platforms. Whilst accepting CDs are basically near dead as sellers on the market I think with an album like this, which basically features magnificent covers of the Great American Songbook, it would be a good idea to at least sell some units on both CD and LP. Classic songs, classic albums require some classic marketing too and I still would love to be able to hold a physical format of the album in my hands. P.S. Jamie Cullum released his brilliant Christmas album on CD and LP as well as digital formats and if I recall quite a lot of physical copies sold.
Nikki's voice is so pure, I can listen to these songs over and over again.
