Example, US and Saudi planned to reduce oil prices in fight against Russia then Russia decided it can manage at 30 cents, from almost $1 imagined the pressure on reserves. That’s the thinking Ghanaian leaders need because eventually US felt the pressure too from states like Texas. Russia because of sanctions has been increasing its reserves because they knew that the western world uses sanctions so they boast domestic manufacturing and reserves something Nkrumah did not understand because of socialism. Ghana had $400 billion equivalent in today’s money but he used most for his African unity and building factories. This are good things but not right because factories should be profitable to maintain. Helping others should not be at your detriment. That money within 15 years all was gone.
