This audio was a beautiful mix of so many emotions, and I wanted to hug Mindful so hard during this audio. She sounded convinced that no one could like her. Could we please hear some audios with a cheerful goth character? It’d be really nice to hear a goth character that’s friendly and sarcastic instead of hearing her feeling like she doesn’t fit in or that she doesn’t deserve the listener’s love. You did an absolutely amazing job of conveying how doubtful Mindful was that the listener actually liked her, how tired she was of getting hurt from having her trust broken, how she wanted to prove that the listener didn’t actually like her by making them take her on a date right away, and how surprised she was that the listener agreed to the date with no hesitation, Mindful! The listener and Mindful’s dynamic was absolutely beautiful to listen to with how Mindful went from being doubtful and sarcastic about the listener actually her to awkward and surprised when they agreed to go on a dats with no hesitation. Hopefully the listener can help her learn to trust people again and show her that they really do like her. I won’t lie, I sorta have mixed feelings on this one. On the one hand, I get her perspective. It sounds like she’s been the victim of false confessions and jokes like that before, and she seems to have poor self confidence, so I can understand her lack of trust. At the same time, working up the courage to admit your feelings to someone like that then the person goes “I don’t believe you” must be a real punch in the gut. It was an interesting dynamic. It didn’t sound like the speaker hated the idea of going on a date with the listener, which was a nice touch. Excellent work
