Disneyland's Main Street Electrical Parade 2017 (Final Performance)

- The original Disneyland copy of the parade ran at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom as "Disney's Main Street Electrical Parade" from June 5, 2010 to October 9, 2016, when it closed in preparation for a limited-time run at Disneyland which started January 20, 2017 and was planned to run through June 18, 2017, marking the 45th anniversary of the parade. However, due to popular demand, Disney extended the parade's run through to August 20, 2017. The parade ended its most recent run at Disneyland on August 20, 2017, while Disney has made no acknowledgement to the parade's future. With much hope that this Disney classic will hopefully return soon.

I remember clapping my hands to this parade too when I was younger. Love 💕😇❤️🤩😍🥰🌹😘.
Hey, I was at that very spot where you filmed it! That was me with the iPad at the very front in the beginning! You got a really great shot sir, I always love hearing your MSEP mixes!! Glad you were able to see the finale, it was a bittersweet goodbye but I have hopes it may return sometime in the future.

Despite being "ONLY" 1080.... LOL! It looks immaculate.
I really didn't mind the 1080p thing, all I was worried about at the moment was getting the opening announcement (really the whole thing) to the parade which I think I was able to capture everyone's enthusiasm for the final performance (myself included), I hope it makes a return soon...

Jilly or something cool, I think anyone sitting in the area we were all in had the opportunity to see the parade floats as they do their final bow, let’s hope it returns...🤞🤞
Acknowledging that this classic and glittering nighttime parade is gone, just feels very odd, as there isn't necessarily anything "big" to look forward too... I know that there is the fireworks "Remember... Dreams Come", 'Fantasmic!', and "World of Color", but they'll be there forever. At least Paint the Night is coming back next year...
InsideDisney let's hope that announcement comes our soon because I just want to know what's happening to the parade ASAP
Please no...not paint the night...You know not agony until you've had to hear that horrible arrangement every day for months on end...The technology that went into the floats is neat, and the start/end of the music is good, but I got SO tired of hearing it because the damn pause in the piece ruins it(when all lights on dancers and certain floats dim out and come back). At least this brought back something similar to the 72-96' versions(just wish they'd tune it back up half a semitone to match it, sounded better due to the baroque style).
Alanthier Seorn Agreed and InsideDisney prefers MSEP over PTN anyway when PTN returns it will go to DCA and at least Disneyland will have some sort of night parade anyway

Why did the spotlights stay on? That ruins the final performance of this true Disney classic!
At the end of the Alice and wonderland unit they are seen on..
Gabriel Lyons if you notice sometimes the lighting will come on and off depending on which parade unit comes by, and the reason for that is because some of the units have parade performers that need to see where they’re going instead if tripping over the tracks along Main Street, bumping into the parade floats, or park guests. It’s subtle I think...

@@Geeker82 not only that but iirc, they also came on during gaps in the parade to allow guests to cross the street in between sections.

Stupid. I would have much rather have this move to DCA than get rid of it entirely. By DCA, I mean Buena Vista St. through Hollywood Land. At least it would still exist, but nope.
Well if there’s a glimmer of hope Disney neither confirmed it’s demise either, I’m hoping this parade makes a come back some day.
