Took notes. The best interviewee on Passion Fruit in Kenya I have heard so far. Fred asked the right questions too. Very informative, quite detailed and so encouraging. Thank you for opening up to us. I hope Lameck also has time to do his own youtube channel. I would subscribe there too. God bless you both.

Nice video Fred🎉. Thanks for sharing this. For a long time this has been my crop to farm. I got you at the right time. How many months from planting to start harvesting?

5hanks fr Fred for this in depth knowledge on passion fruit production... 5his 8s much appreciated. My concern is on the issue of the intercrop in between the passion plant rows when the plan is still young. Is it OK to plant legumes like beans, soybean etc as the intercroo? Some people argue that planting this legumes increases the build up of nematodes in the field that later affects the passion fruit? Im not sure if this is true, comment and advice from members in this Chanel who are doing passion fruit will be helfull on this, thank.

I don't think that is true. Where does Nematodes come from or why are they associated with legumes?

I'm getting hundreds of flowers, yet no fruit. Is my plant too big/long?

You likely don’t have the right pollinators. Honey bees are too small and for us, the carpenter bees and ants didn’t do anything. Try transferring the pollen from the 5 anthers to all 3 stamens (cover them well) sometime between noon-ish and 5pm. If you still get no fruit, then you do not have a self-pollinator and need a 2nd (I assume genetically different) plant. Also hand-transfer pollen from one plant to the other just to be certain

Two things. From your explanation, pole to pole distance is 3m and not 6m as it has been mentioned.
Again what is the height of the pole?
