Incredible skills. You really motivate me to take guitar lessons. Since when are you playing? And how much time did you spend every day to get to this level?
Thank you so much, it means a lot to hear that! I've been playing for almost 5 years and I would practice and just learn new songs for at least an hour everyday.
I understand learning something by ear, but how the heck do you figure out the fast parts? I got the chorus myself but it took me a while to figure out the opening riff(even while watching your video) when it walks down super fast. I have trouble hearing the quick notes
It's just a matter of training your ear to hear it and in the areas where it's harder to hear, you can simply slow down the song and listen to the notes to hear what's being played even clearer.
@@fgeo91 sorry bro forgot to click more on the description. My apologies. Great cover by the way. I’m just curious though what kind of a set up and string gauge did you have to put on that guitar to play inA#
@feedthewolf6930 all good mate. I don't exactly remember as I made these videos a few years ago but I think I had 11-52 gauge strings for Drop A#, works well on this guitar because of the slightly longer scale length (25.5"). If you have a guitar with a standard scale length (I think that's 24.75"), I'd use slightly heavier strings.
It happens sometimes after TH-cam finishes processing the video, which is unfortunately out of my hands as soon as I hit the upload button. Although I've noticed some browsers/phones can have issues in this department (Explorer for example seems to have the audio ever so slightly ahead of the video in some cases, and most of the time on phones). Latest version of Chrome should play it properly, which is what I use. I just record my guitar over the original song.
#Benburnley is such a great songwriter.
The more I listen to this album, the more phenomenal the songs feel
Cause it has metal flavor, at least nu metal.
*sees Frans uploaded several Ember covers*
Well I know what I'll be doing all afternoon
This dude has to have won the school talent show
Haha I wish I'd played guitar when I was in school!
@@fgeo91 could you please do a cover of Eyes set to kill break?

One of my favorites from the album. Red cold river, feed the wolf, close your eyes and blood are also up there for me
for me the trilogy
1. Tourniquet
2. Red Cold River
3. Torn into Two
Feed The Wolf also heavy, then I listen to Dark of You as closure
Every time I hear the intro to this I get chills😂
That's what happens to me every time I listen to Red Cold River lol
Feed the Wolf too bros 🤘
Because it use Phrygian scale. Phrigian+ electric = metal

Your beard is goals
Nice cover man! Love this song
Haha thank you!
What is your guitar tuned to?
is there some special effect for the lead intro before the main riff?
Not from what I remember. Pretty sure the lead is just fairly compressed.

How many beats per minute is this song?
154
@@commanderchair Thanks!
how, did u learn it so fast, Listened to leak websites?
It leaked last Wednesday and I learnt the five songs that weren't released very quickly, so it was easy to cover them.
What tuning is this in? Drop D? Drop C? Further?
Drop C. It's written in the description.
Frans Georges thanks! Just saw that.
What tuning is this
@@feedthewolf6930 drop C. Read the description.
@@fgeo91 thought it was A#
@@feedthewolf6930 not this song.

Tabs?
I need the tabs and chords to this, especially the tuning :O
Haven't got tabs, learnt it all by ear. Tuning is Drop C, written in the description.
Your playing and the audio were a little out of sync bud. Just ever so slightly. How do you get the song without the guitar tracks?
It happens sometimes after TH-cam finishes processing the video, which is unfortunately out of my hands as soon as I hit the upload button. Frans Georges I gotcha. Keep up the awesome covers. 👍
Yeah see why don't you honestly just join the band man
Because I live halfway across the world in Australia lol
You actually kinda look like Keith.
Haha I've gotten that a few times.
Such a ripping song
