I still don't understand why RoB is so popular. Sure it has a lot of range and bleed build up on the weapon art, but not so much to where it made me feel threatened whenever I faced it. You can out damage and poise through it with most weapons, so counter attacks should be easy and effective. If you ask me, a weapon with a good and versatile moveset is the best thing to carry you through the game. Guardian Swordspear for example, it is a standard weapon, but in my opinion it is perhaps one of the best DEX weapons in general. It has carried me throughout most of the game, and helped me beat the boss in both the main game and DLC. It's that good.
@@GawainWIt got nerfed pretty hard, and hyper armor poise weapons got a lot of buffs. It dealt full damage at any range before, but now it does it only at close range. Before the nerf it was one of the best bleed weapons so all the content farm youtube videos called it "the best evah" and some people havent got the memo.
Its ash has range and fast poise breaks that make it difficult to use regular attacks on most weapons against it. It’s easy to get interrupted against it and you need well time running attacks with hyperarmour or good forward momentum weapon ashes like sword dance to counter it.
@@GawainW I mean, yeah you’re kind of right but rob is still a fun weapon at least in my opinion and it can still be pretty strong and PVP so long as you’re smart most people would spam the ash of war while I mostly use it to inflict bleed buildup and roll catch

Invaders crutching npcs is kind of pathetic. Use noc to split the pack a bit, ok. But don't act like the NPCs killing guys makes the invaders a badass... It's kind of pathetic they instantly run to strong npcs and don't attack without them
