That is an excellent build! Cant wait to see it in your diorama build! And I am glad my videos were helpful to ya. I definitely need to start building some American muscle cars on my channel, I need to add some variety to the mix.
Thank you so much, that means a lot coming from you!! I’ve been watching your videos for years and have learned so much. I know you’d do an amazing job making American cars. To be honest, I’m only making American cars for a specific diorama. If it were up to me, I’d only build Japanese cars haha!
You've learned a lot in a relatively short time. This was an excellent built. It's great that today's technology allows you to use 3D printing for the finer details. All good, all good.
Thank you very much for your kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed the build! I agree 3D printing has help so much in allowing us model makers to create our own kit quality parts efficiently. Thanks again for watching!
Awesome, so happy to see you making a model car kit. This stingray would look great sitting with an old 60s diner diorama. Keep up the awesome work man!
Something I cannot stress enough is scribe the panels lines! you dont even need panel line accent color because it looks so good after paint. Especially if you use a grey primer. Hope this helps beginning modelers!
Now. On your finished car model, you did damn good👏🏼. Back in my day, the only thing missing we didn't change to realism was the micro mini-gas and somebody to drive them😊😅😂. Great job, especially on the dash. Aftermarket if you can.
Stunning build. There are so many excellent car kits coming onto the market. I would really like to see you do a diorama based on the Prohibition Era. Thank you and best wishes.
FYI you can open grills and vents by grinding or sanding from the inside and hopefully leaving the outside in tact. You really do a beautiful job on all of your work! 😎👍
It looks amazing! Seeing the way you work with the red paint is just superb! If you ever wanted to dabble in works from fiction, I would love to see you attempt a 1:1 recreation of Shotaro Kaneda’s red motorbike from the film Akira. Seeing that iconic piece be recreated in small scale would be awesome!
Dude, now you in my department. Atlease, from yesterday. I woulda did as you on the louvers and other areas. Now I use what I already know and things you've taught 'n showed me to do my own stuff on my channel. Look, touch if you want, just thanks for ya. Memphis,10🇺🇲
I'm glad you agree with me on the louvers, I think it helps a lot! Also glad to hear that you've learned a couple of things from my videos, that makes me super happy to hear that. Thanks for your support, and good luck with all your builds!
instead of epoxy, I use a variety of Mod Podge called dimensional magic to make glass for gauges and headlights on kits where the headlights and grille are a 1-piece molded thing instead of having like separate clear plastic headlight parts
Good morning my friend, that was a truly excellent build and paint finish, the colour was perfect, one question if I may, why did you not use your airbrush for the priming/undercoat? Congratulations on an excellent job, best regards from Australia, Les
Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed the build! I used spray can primers because of the convenience, and I find that hobby primers lay down smooth enough without filling in any details. Also, any slight orange peel texture was sanded away before the first color coats anyways. Thanks again for watching!!
I have lots of car kits in my collection, and lots of Japanese cars! I could definitely see myself customizing those in future builds. I think a gas station diorama would be really cool! I have a few dioramas planned for future videos, but hopefully I'll get to do a gas station sometime in the near future!
Thank you so much!! I got the adapter for the from the link I just replied to you on. I'm sure those polishing pads work fine, but the pads I used in the video were just the generic orange, yellow, and black ones that should be easy to find on amazon. Hope this helps!
Great job my man. I always say, it’s your model, build it like you like it, but I gotta say, with all due respect and all the detail that you put into that beautiful vette, I’m really disappointed that you didn’t at least detail the engine with plug wires and the fact that you glued the hood down. Please don’t be hatin me.
Thank you so much! And that's a fair take, I totally get what you mean. But for me personally, I'm using the cars to enhance my dioramas, and details like the engine and such that I never plan on displaying don't really matter much to me. Also, my hood was warped and didn't sit properly. Even though gluing it didn't 100% fix the fitment, I think it looked a lot better than sitting there. That's not to say I won't ever go all out detailing a car engine in the future, but it would need to be in a mechanics shop diorama or something that would make sense for the engine to be visible. Hope this makes sense and thanks for watching!
I just found your channel about a month ago, attracted by the Waffle House build. I've been working my way through the architecture models one by one. I've seen this one, but have been skipping over it because I'm fascinated with the dioramas. I think I have a new favorite Smol World Workshop video! Very nice job!!
I hope you give it a second chance! I always want to encourage other makers to complete their build and have fun doing so! Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
Being a modeler all of my life, I found myself holding my breath during the video at the precise placement of parts. lol
Haha, it's a stressful but rewarding part of the process! Thanks for watching!

My first model was a Revell Corvette for my 8th birthday. That was 50yrs ago and I think I'll build this kit to honor my hobby.
Nice work on your first car build video. Car looks great 🍻
Thank you so much for all the support, that means a lot!
Like the buffed finish.
What a nice looking car.
Thank you, I really liked working on the paint job for this one!

I have a tip for you. Sand the outer surface of the tire thread just enough to make the tires look super realistic. The model looks amazing!
What a great build!! I have been hoping you would do some scaled cars, GREAT JOB!
Thanks for watching, I had a lot of fun building this one!
Incredible work
Thank you!!!

Thanks for sharing that tip! I agree, it really does help enhance the look of the model. Thanks again for watching!

That's a beautiful paint job. Those round pads for polishing work great.
Congratulation! Very nice oldies musclecar ! My favorit Corvette C3.
Thank you very much for watching!
Talk about precise detail work, the car 🚘 even has a showroom finish. 😮 It looks real at the end.

@smolworldworkshop Your welcome and glad to be aboard.
I shot all my 1:25 scale vettes with oem lacquer tu paint. Had to gel coat the body first, but they are all factory correct colors.
just amazing 😅😂😋
Apply the polish compound to the pad not the surface and dab it across the panel lightly, that way its less likely to spray compound everywhere.
Sweet Vette Dou Nice Build 😁🤩I love the color she is sweet😂scooter😎
These thumbnails are going to really skyrocket your views my man.
Thank you so much, I really hope so! I do my best to use thumbnails of shots seen in the video
Nice
Thank you for watching!

Looks great 👍. Have you seen the SpongeBob and Patrick wrapped Corvette C6.? I think you'll find it quite amusing 😊
Omg I just looked it up, that's amazing haha! Thanks for sharing that with me, and thanks for watching!
This thing has more attention to detail than my real car

This is waht i want to do dioramas and car models kits for photography
Great video! The Vette came out stunning. BTW, where did you get the buffing wheels and adapter to fit the DSPIAE tool?

Kind of surprised you didn't sand the tire treads. You left them all glossy????
You need more tail pipe hanging out of the rear!

You should make nuketown from call of duty. I've always wanted to see a mini nuketown
Yooooo
Yoooo dood
I just actually bought this model, saw your video…threw the model in the trash.
Oh, yee of little faith 😊😅😂.
I hope you give it a second chance! I always want to encourage other makers to complete their build and have fun doing so! Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
I'd aim for Tamiya kits over Revell, much higher quality
Hard to believe this is your first model but ok.
Can you make a freddy fazbear's pizza from fnaf movie diorama?
Hey, that car would look really great parked at the Waffle House!
Thank you! Maybe once I build a few more cars, I'll get a few pictures of it parked out front. Thanks for watching!!
TO MANY ADS IN HIS VIDEOS STOPPED WATCHING
This makes me sick
Nice
Thank you for watching!
