My son's favorite foreign language was Italian (I teach Hebrew . . . ugh!). To get him rolling, I took him to operas (performed in Italian). I guess any language has its advantages. Maybe a French student would enjoy watching French films.

We like to watch some of our favorite tv shows in French.

Have you found anything similar for Spanish?

Not specifically. Spanish resources have been a lot easier to come by so I never searched for anything like this.

I am interested to see how this works out for you. We started with Breaking the Barrier- total bomb as a parent that does not know French it was not easy to correct because I couldn't necessarily tell my student what was wrong- my husband is learning French and found that there is more than one answer so we stopped that program. We are utilizing Rosetta Stone for Homeschool and duolingo currently. The lessons are so short, but I think my student is learning much more this way, but I like workbooks so I may add these in as well!

She decided that she wanted to stick to just French and take a break from ASL 🤷🏼‍♀️
