According to the official info over 10000 active Fasnachters take a part in the parades, but there are also thousands involved behind thr scenes, like cleaning services etc. Groups are created by societies/guilds which has places where they meet all year long to practice, talk and drink 🎉 This is huge part of social life for Swiss people involved into Fasnacht.
