      The people of Israel (🇮🇱) established itself in egypt and descendants of jacob and Joseph multiplied. For a long time the Egyptians showed their gratitude for Joseph for saving Egypt from a major cataclysm and because of that his people were treated with respect but many years after the death of Joseph, the Hebrew’s life in Egypt started to change. God made Abraham’s descendants fertile therefore the Hebrew population in Egypt grew rapidly, the Israelites were now numerous and influential. when a new pharaoh sat on the throne someone who knew nothing about Joseph and Egypt’s debt of gratitude to the people of Israel. The life of the Hebrews changed abruptly, the pharaoh feared the Hebrews' growing power, a population that multiplied and thrived; he considered that the Israelites had to to be contained, otherwise Egypt would fall. The rulers decreed that the Israelites had to endure forced labor nevertheless they continued to multiply. The pharaoh subjected God’s chosen people to slavery and their lives embittered and under Egyptian rule, they were forced to conduct the most strenuous and degrading tasks nonetheless albeit subjected to the harsh slave life. The people of Israel continued to multiply just as God promised abraham the Egyptian ruler forced the midwives of the Israelites to murder the Hebrew offspring as soon as they were born. They refused to obey such an order which threatened the very existence of their people and when the authorities questioned them about the refusal, nothing that their children would continue to be born. They stated that Israeli women were blessed with so much strength that they had giving birth before their arrival. enraged, the pharaoh decreed that all newborn boys would have to be thrown into the Nile and only the girls deserved to be saved. The terror grew among the Hebrews and mothers saw their children being snatched from their arms. A woman of the tribe of Levi attempted to hide her son and for three months the child managed to dodge the pharaoh’s wrath but as he grew older it became more difficult to hide him. Desperate to save her son’s life, she laid the best in a seagrass blanket and let it sail the Nile. His mother prayed to God asking for his mercy to save her child’s fate. As the basket with the bady floated on the Nile his sister chased it following along the bank. The Gods will then guide the basket towards the riverbanks precisely where the pharaoh's daughter was bathing herself. Spotting the basket between the reeds, the Egyptian princess ordered her maiden to pick it up. The pharaoh’s daughter was stunned when she discovered that there was a beautiful bady in it. All the evidence pointed out such a child could only be a Hebrew offspring. Nevertheless, she decided to adopt the child and called him Moses, since he had been saved from the waters. The child would then grow up among the highest Egyptian nobility not knowing that an even more glorious fate awaited him. Moses had been rescued from the Nile by the princess daughter of the Egyptian pharaoh she adopted him and Moses grew among the highest Egypt nobility the princess needed a nurse for the body and in order to feed Moses an Israeli slave was brought who was in fact his biological mother among the Egyptian princes, he had a life of luxury and privilege and already an adult. He wanted to see in person how the Hebrew his ancestors were treated the prince felt nothing short or horrified after witnessing the conditions under which his brother were living, seeing an Egyptian overseer brutally beating an Israeli slave, era to take hold of Moses' will and he attacked the Egyptian. The latter eventually died. The news that Moses had committed a dreadful crime spread quickly and the pharaoh ordered Moses to be arrested. Having no other alternative Moses went into exile. Living now like a vagabond, Moses encouraged a group of young women who were trying to hydrate their flock but a group was stopping the girls from reaching the well. Moses intervened on behalf of the girls allowing them to give water to their animals. The girl thanks the Egyptians and introduced him to their father. Rule the girls father invited Moses to life with them and offered him one of his daughters in marriage and the former Egyptian prince settled in the median lands, he and his wife zipporah gave birth to gershom and together they life’s in peace in his new home but meanwhile the people of Israel suffers under Egyptian rule time past and a new pharaoh sat now on the throne. His government was even tougher on the Hebrews and the chosen people asked for the creator's help. God didn’t ignore Abraham’s descendants as he would never forget the pact made with the Israelites Moses was guided in his flock grazing on the mount horeb the mountains of God when he saw a bush spontaneously busting into flames, intrigued by it Moses walked to the bush and realized that despite the fire the plant was not burning by fire and flames and Moses heard the lords call God said “I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham the God of Isaac and the God Jacob. God declared that he had come down to answer the cry of the chosen people and Moses would be Gods instrument to free Abrahams people from the Egyptians. Moses wasn’t considered he was just a simple man and he couldn’t imagine his voice being heard. God asked Moses to drop his rob and when his rod touched the ground much to Moses astonishment, it became serpent. The creator ordered Moses to grab the serpent by the tail and with that it became a rob again. That miracle alone would be enough to show the Israelites that God was by Moses’s side and that he was there to help them in their liberation. God taught other mechanics to convince Abraham’s people that Moses told the truth nevertheless Moses still asked for someone else to be chosen saying he lacked oratorical abilities but God reassured him he would always be by his side telling him what to say. GOD led Aaron to his brother Moses; he would be Moses' spokesman. The two brothers returned to Egypt to free God's chosen people.
      After the Ten Plagues, Moses led the Exodus of the Israelites out of Egypt but they were all stuck when they came across the Red Sea. They didn’t know what to do because the water was too deep and the Egyptian were behind them riding on their chariot. But God told Moses to open his arms up and as soon as Moses did that the Red Sea divided so they could get across the sea to get to the promised land. As soon as they went across the Red Sea and was at shore. The Egyptian were now behind them in between the Divided sea. God told Moses to open his arms again and then the waters closed back up. the Egyptians were washed away and none of them survived. And Moses and the free slaves were saved and now free to go to the Promised Land. 2,000 years later divers in the Red Sea found lots of chariot wheels in the Red Sea and that’s lots of evidence and proof that the event actually happened.
      Amen 🙏 ❤

    To the ones that claim to "know it's real" and the ones who claim they "know it's not," have you ever just thought that we just "do not know." And thats okay. Now, if believing in a religion helps one with life, please continue. If not believing helps one understand life better, keep it up. Just don't force either on others and claim you know. The Jordan river valley - the site of the biblical city of Sodom - was heavily populate until about 1600 BCE, when all the cities there were destroyed, and remained uninhabited for the following 500 years. The damage shows not only extreme heat, enough to melt fire brick, bur also high pressure, which caused some of the ash to turn into micro-diamonds. One of the only things that could do that is a small comet exploding, like at Tunguska in 1904. Scientists posit that the explosion also threw salt water from the dead sea into the air, which coated the region, rendering the soil infertile for farming until the salt finally washed out 500 years later.

      Let's move on from the destruction of Sodom in the Bible and go to Lot being raped by his two daughter and both of them getting pregnant by their father, each giving birth to sons who become leaders of their own nation which God tells the Israelites to leave alone, because God gave those sons the land they inhabit so their people are not to be harmed. All of this after Lot offered up his virgin daughters to be raped by the crowd in Soddom if they'd leave the two "guests" alone. What an odd series of events to take place and then for God to reward such behavior. Genesis 19:30-38

      @antonsmirnov987 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @johnord684 Sea peoples can't explain the micro-diamonds mixed in with the ash. Even to melt the brick would require higher heat that a simple burning building could generate - only lava or a comet could go that high, and lava doesn't generate pressure.

      The exodus crossing didn't take place in the red sea. They crossed the gulf of aqaba. Chariot wheels and other things can be found there. What many people do not know is that africa was colonized to change maps and hide biblical cities, towns, regions etc... if you research ancient maps you will see Jerusalem in South west Africa, along with Bethlehem, bersheba, Jericho etc... so yes the Jerusalem in Israel is not the true Jerusalem but the fake one created for the fake jews. Mt. Sinai is actually in Saudi Arabia. The site today correlates with the Bible in that at its base you can find the golden calf altar as well as the scorched black top of the mountain where Moses received the 10 commandments. The Saudi government has the site gated off for some reason...

    3 knowing this first: that SCOFFERS will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 2 Peter 3:3-4
    For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
    8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:5-9

    Honestly? The Reed Sea? It's depth was only about 18 inches. So, you're telling me that the entire Egyptian army drowned in 18 inches of water? Horses and all? The idea is so ridiculous that it is beyond belief. I thought you would at least mention how there was a land bridge just under the water that could have easily been exposed with the right wind. The "mistranslation" theory was debunked soooo many years ago that mentioning it shows that y'all didn't research this very well.

    You see, for someone agnostic like me, this is insightful. It supports what I've long believed: it's hard to believe anything in the Bible, as there's so many translations, and so many people have written them. This further supports my agnosticism.

    • @drewayers1678
      @drewayers1678 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well, what you have to realize at the very least is that the reason for multiple translations is to make things more accessible to people. Like you can Google "Translation Spectrum", and you will see what I mean. There are bad translations out there, but most of the time it is when it is dominated by one person, or when it is paraphrased. Translations in teams (the ESV had over 100 scholars from many denominations) are the better ones. Each translation goes at it with a different approach. Like the NIV, for instance, will not really follow the Hebrew and Greek word-for-word, but rather "thought-for-thought", whereas the NASB tries to make it more literal, but it is harder to read. The KJV uses older English that not many people today would understand (including myself), and the Amplified Bible has notes in the margins to give more definitions for words. It's all out of a reason to make it more accessible.
      What you have to realize is that for 1500 years (0-1525 or so) there was never an English translation, yet people still understood the text. That's actually why I decided to learn Koine Greek (for the New Testament) myself, and I've found that English translations are fairly accurate, though there are nuances that can't be carried over because they don't exist in the English Language. Not sure what you mean by "so many people have written them". Were you referring to the translations, or to the books of the Bible themselves? Because if you are referring to the books of the Bible, then that is a strong argument for the Bible's authenticity because you have over 350 prophecies in the Old Testament (by different people) that were fulfilled by Jesus. And we have manuscripts of these prophecies that were written before Jesus' time (as we have the Dead Sea Scrolls).
      It is hard to believe anything in the Bible, but not if you acknowledge God's existence. If there is a God, then why can't He do miracles beyond a naturalistic explanation? The bigger question you need to answer is: Is the God of the Bible real? Then if that is answered as yes, then the miracles are ok.

    The debate on the Shroud of Turin is far from over. There were some sketchy things going behind the scenes of the carbon dating test, and further research has been prevented. I guess some people actively don't want to get much closer to the truth... However, many researchers, through other paths (art history, textile history, astrophysics) got pretty close to understand how the image was formed, and they think it may have originated by a very intense beam of light. But without access to the actual piece of cloth, it's very difficult to further any research...

    I am no scholar by any means, but I have heard a couple of evidences for some things by some researchers that really make sense. A lot of these things can be Googled with ease:
    1. As far as evidence for the Great Flood, polystrate trees in fossil deposits seem to discourage against slow deposition over time, but rather rapid burial. When I was talking this with my dad, he said that my grandfather used to call those things "widowmakers" because they would fall from the coal ceiling and kill people, and he worked in the coal mines in West VA most of his life. What is also fascinating is that we have Great Flood stories in a lot of ancient civilizations, although they obviously differ from the Genesis account, which is to be expected. Fossilization of jellyfish, fish eating other fish, eggs, and animals giving birth also support the theory for rapid burial and fossilization (you can see images of these). The last one is that most scholars (at least that I'm aware of) will say that civilization generally started in the 3rd millennium BC (at the very least, it is when our earliest writings come from), which is the millennium in which the Great Flood would have approximately happened.
    2. Authenticity of the Shroud of Turin, at least from a scientific perspective, really comes down to how the imprint got on there in the first place. I heard one guy once say that the imprint could not have been made by conventional means in ancient times. I'm not too sure about this, however, but if anyone is interested, that is probably a good point to research.
    These are just some things that were not mentioned in the video for others to explore. To offer a view on the video itself though: I am not afraid to say that God divinely orchestrated events to happen, meaning I am not afraid to say that there is no naturalistic explanation. If God exists, then why do we say there cannot be any miracles? Some things will only be explained as a miracle, like Jesus' Resurrection. I'm ok with that. I do think that we should observe reasonable evidence of these things, either historically, geologically, archaeologically, geographically, and otherwise, but as far as the causes I'm not sure why people try to explain things away in this video as it seems they try to do in order to make religious texts seem credible but yet not affirm their claims that God exists, of which arguments I find weigh in favor of God's existence.
    Good video though, gets you thinking!

    Hey watch mojo! You should of named this video Lets be critical of Christian religion while we talk well of other religions. Is it humorous that the group that studied Sodom are "uncredited" while other studies bebunking stories are not mention in a distrustful manner. Do we have an agenda here watch mojo??

    Okay butttttttt say all these events like number 2 and the sun and moon standing still, and sodom and gomorrah etc.... why did these all happen at the precise time it was needed if it wasn't a divine reason? Isrealites tried to escape and that minute the sea parted, there was war and time needed to be still, it was still, etc. Lets not say the mysteries are solved when they clearly are far from it. Just accept that not everything needs to be explained or can be explained away so neatly

    The lords work is one of wonder...no one knows the power he has ...we cant explain what happen all we have to do is trust and obey because if we have to listen to this and that bout how this and that happen ...we are just flying into Gods face

      So basically “god is responsible for everything, but don’t try to study anything or learn what ACTUALLY causes things because learning the truth offends my god.”
      Thought process straight from the dark ages. Don’t learn anything new because figuring out that god isn’t involved is bad.

      @@kaiza6467 I didn't say that I think either u misunderstood or u didn't take the time to understand...I never said God is responsible for everything..there are things in this world no one has a explanation for and its one of the world's mysterys but who created them tho?
      Ah yes we all learn something new every day but sometimes it's best to leave certain things alone... let's use the plagues ...God say how he did it..science says another thing but who am I gonna believe ?

      God don't exist, science has proven both a god & the bible are just a scam. Take a read of the bible & you only find contradiction & hypocrisy that is actually true evil. Religion is from a time we're to stupid to completely understand the world around us. Every single story can be better explained by science & anyone who believes religion are nothing but lazy dimwits.
