You can’t simply plug in uber number when comparing to robotaxi, uber main expense isthe driver, robotaxi eliminates that.
That is a profits answer, but not revenues. The demand for taxis is not going to suddenly skyrocket. Plus on the profits side, who is going to insure a Robotaxi that is driving around the city? The excess insurance costs are going to eliminate the profits anyway. Waymo insures their robotaxis, is Tesla going to cover your insurance?

anyone knows about FSD in bad weather conditions? It performs well in good Californian weather but Tesla only uses cameras nowadays unlike competitors with laser technologies. So I wonder how FSD performs in rain, fog, low light conditions etc.

Maybe sentient robots will save the day for your car company bet. If not every meaningful metric is stagnant or down for 5 quarters in a row. That is the opposite of growth. At this point General Motors last 5 quarters put on a screen next to teslas looks like a growth company. Tesla shareholders better hope there isnt a recession any time soon if you think sales are down now... Oh and also, eventually tesla will have to re design and refresh their models. They've been getting away with selling the same cars for years and haven't had to spend money on re design like normal car companies. I suspect that time will come too which will increase Capex further pushing down margins. Maybe I'm wrong but the margin for safety on a tesla bet right now is too thin. Maybe if it's selling for 20x pe I'll take a look again (or even maybe a peg closer to 2). Oh and don't forget the majority of tesla buyers are liberal leaning and the majority of never ev buyers are conservative leaning. How do you think elon getting involved in politics and alienating his consumer base will fare over the next 12 months or more?
