Animate is one of my favorite Northlane songs, as Marcus said apparently it doesn't work well live but I'd say it's the hidden gem in Node. Such a cool vibe to it.

I am blown away by the fact that in the first minute you named a bunch of old school bands that I too played with in Newy + Sydney a LONG time ago. Definitely remember playing with Cannons Mouth a fair bit. Small world!

It's obviously a labor of love, and you've really carved out a lane for yourselves that is fun to be driving in along with you. I don't know if you guys take requests, but I'd be super curious to see what you think about an artist called Ethel Cain. She may be the most singular female voice in music since Lana Del Rey, and her influences range from Lynyrd Skynyrd to Slowdive. Her debut album dropped earlier this month, and it features (among other great tracks) the single "Gibson Girl." Even if you don't react to her, I highly recommend you give her a listen!
