Looks just as awesome from a distance as it does up close. Noticed the Spade is missing a tooth in this one.
If I’m doing the math correctly during an eight hour shift with what looks like less than a one minute cycle time multiplied by a 105 cy bucket this machine could move 50000 cubic yards per day amazing!
Why is it damn near impossible to find footage of the king of all shovels, The Captain?
Especially considering it was still operational in 1990
