No Dequincy or DeRidder man lol! We both know the Dequincy is a hotspot and DeRidder has a lot of locals in fact my girlfriend’s older cousins was gonna get me a job on the short line to kirbyville Tx! That spot looks like another good rail fan town for BNSF! Anyways love the videos we definitely gotta met up when I’m in the area!!!
Yeah those two towns are definitely gonna be visited in the near future. DeQuincy is just out of my range for making it a day trip though, so we’ll grab a hotel whenever we go.
@@LouisianaRailProductions if you stay at Skippers Inn for a night it’s not bad and really affordable in DeRidder. I’ve stayed there for a night when one of my flights was super late coming into Houston then driving back to DeRidder. Also LCH is a good spot you got Amtrak UP and CPKC In that small city
Great Video as always LRP! I caught a few interesting trains early last week in the snow/ice. I was down in Forbing at the parking lot of that mexican restaurant and caught an oil train headed up by two BNSF GEVOs. When I was on my way home my scanner picked up a DD giving a high and wide load on the Alexandria sub which I drove by a few times once I got there. It turned out to be nothing but the crew and dispatcher seemed to be in a good mood about the whole situation as the conductor slipped a few times.
