Hi Friends! Each year, you and I sit on the couch and talk about some of the harder aspects of the year that I don't regularly share. I pray for you and as many of you pray for me. Thank you for making me feel supported enough to even share. xoxo Cassandra

Awe honey, it's a very hard to be where you are. I am in the exact same place you are. It isn't likely I'll ever have children of my own at this point. Your situation hit me in the feels as I know exactly how you feel. I am at the point where I am more seriously thinking about adoption. Don't let it get you down, it's OK to ask for help too. You are strong, but its good that you can have a good cry. Remember to take a few minutes for you every day, you need it. I will put you in my prayers.

I will pray for a baby in your future. Years ago, I was single forever. I got to where I couldn’t go to weddings or attend baby showers. In fact, the neighbor lady was teaching me to quilt and I was making a baby quilt in faith. I got so upset that I threw it in the trash about 1/3 of the way. I was so discouraged. I finally met a guy and married at 33. Had babies at 35, 37 & 41. One of my friends prayed for a baby for 27 years. She adopted a frozen embryo and had a wonderful amazing boy at age 44. He’s a little genius kid. So adorable. Whatever happens for you, I will pray for a miracle baby. Much love, Cassandra

@@BecomingaFarmGirl As I told you before. My daughter's deepest desire was to have a child before she passed. When she finally opened up to me about how truly painful it was....her statement was 'I see these women having babies, multiples and can't take care of them or don't even want them, all I am asking God for is one little baby, just one.' We cried together and I shared with her a story about me and her dad. How we wanted one more child. We tried for 7 years. How it broke my heart that I couldn't get pregnant again. My mom said, you guys are trying to hard. Me and my husband had a convo and said 2 is enough and went about our business. A few months later, gaining weight and buying gurdles. My last thought was let me just take a test. Yep you guessed it baby #3. I called my mom and said but we don't want another baby now. She laughed and said welp he is coming! That story cheered my daughter up. After the laugher I told her, the trick of the enemy is for you to look and say they all have but Lord why not me. We will all be praying over your womb. If it is so it will be. Amen Amen Amen. You walk in your authority beautiful woman. Oh yeah check out I.A.G. Farms. Meagan has a testimony about her journey that I know you will relate too. I think she is also subscribed to your channel. 🥰

NO GUILT about the letters/emails - those are our efforts to hold your hand, sit by you and just listen, pray with you. We hurt for you, with you. Last thing everyone wishes for you is unnecessary guilt. You are loved by so many people - most are faceless that you will never meet. You can bet a large amount of them/us are going to the Lord in your behalf. Blessings.

Cassi, girlfriend. I have LITERALLY been and felt where you are for 7 years with my husband.
I went thru endometriosis surgery, multiple fertility treatments, and for so many years, nothing. I literally lost faith in God's promise. The monthly disappointment and negative tests 😢 gurl....so many tears.
Everything truly does come on God's time and if he made a promise to you, he will keep it.
I'm naturally 7 weeks pregnant 🤰🏽 now. Cass, keep the faith. He will never desert you! Prayers up. We're praying for you. 🙏🏽

I was infertile after my first child was born. I finished nursing him, and I still couldn't get pregnant for over a year. Then my husband and I both did a 10 day cleansing fast. I got pregnant immediately and have a large family now. The fast that we followed was in a book by Bernard Jensen about tissue cleansing. Since then I have seen other references to regular fasting helping with infertility. When fasting, the body is more likely to dissolve any obstructions in the very narrow and delicate pathways of the reproductive systems, through autophagy. Best of luck

As a woman who struggled with fertility and ultimately became an adoptive Mama, this video resonated with me deeply. My son turns 11 today and I can't believe how fast time has gone by. My husband and I ultimately made peace with our infertility and left it up to God that if we were meant to be parents, however it was meant to be, then we would put ourselves out there. It took a few years but the child we were meant to have came to us thru adoption. As soon as we looked at him we knew he was our child. It is a beautiful process. So my prayer for you and your husband is to become parents in the exact way God means for you. Try to keep this faith. Sending you both much love. ❤️

Oh my goodness Cassandra! I am sorry for the difficult journey. I cried at the beginning of your video. It was so good for me to tear up with you. I call them "therapy cries". I am one of the people who shared my infertility journey via email. I totally understand not responding. And the body does keep the score. I tell people that bodies can break. I broke mine in 2014 and it has been a long journey coming out of it.
I needed to "therapy" cry with you because my daughter is very ill. And I am sadly going through a difficult divorce after being married 28 years. Each person has their hard. Thank you for sharing yours. It will help many of us not feel so alone. And I am thankful to say God has been so faithful through my hard.

I don't always comment, but I do always look forward to your videos; they truly are inspiring and often feel like a conversation between "the girls". You have such a sweet spirit and bring light to so many; may this year brings you goodness and answered prayers. At age 51, and after 27 years in the classroom teaching writing (I left in 2021 due to the toll the ever-increasing demands were taking on my health and family), I feel like I am finally blossoming into the complete person I was meant to be; we're never too old or beyond the time to pursue our passions and dreams.

I was teaching my friend how to garden a couple of weeks ago. We were starting seeds for the Greenstalk that I bought her for Christmas. I showed her your videos and how you utilize them in your townhome setting. Then I said, "I can't wait until she is blessed with a baby." She was like, "what!?" and I told her that you are (unknowingly) one of my friends "though the screen", a friend that I learned a lot from, and I can't wait until you become a Mommy. She thought I was weird because I don't know you. (I have quilting and crocheting friends on the channel as well 🙂) I had a lot of fertility struggles, a few loses, and the moment I gave up and left it to faith I got pregnant with my daughter... of course AFTER I "planned an epic year". I am sending you hugs and prayers from NC.... Re-read my comment and wanted to add: when I "gave up" it still hurt to "give up".... the ache to be a Mother is only felt by a true Mother. If you can't have a child through your womb you can have a child through your heart. I have friends who were adopted by amazing parents and have always been amazing reflections of them. Love on the Hubby as you go on your journey together.

I started crying as you talked about your struggle with infertility. Every fertility journey is different. I had been told, in my late 20s, that I would likely never be able to become pregnant. A lot happened between then & when I turned 40 ... After lots of ups, downs, tears and endless prayer, I became pregnant at 40 and had my son at 41. He's a happy & health teenager now. I know this roller-coaster is rough and it can be really hard to find hope, but I pray that you continue to hold that hope close to your heart. ❤ ALSO, Congrats on your subscriber plaque! That represents a lot of hard work and dedication!

I have been through this journey. I feel for you. I also know you will get past this. Please feel hope. I had miscarriages, eptopic pregnancies, invitro. I had a positive pregnancy only to loose two embryos (weeks apart) after a fall while mopping the floor. I lost a foster child that we raised for 10 months suddenly due to a birth mother getting arrested and having more rights if she sought visitation.. This is a hard journey. We eventually decided to become foster parents again while trying to adopt. We ended up with two kids in six months. I know this our answer is not everyones. Once a baby was in my arms I would run out in front of a car to save this little being. That's when I knew that I what a real mother is. I share these kids with their birthparents as I never wanted them to have to search for answers. I hope for you to find your own path that works for your family. I wish for you to celebrate your family, however that comes, in the near future. Wishing you the very best. Your attitude is your gift.

I loved the video! I am a 83 year old retired tech writer/poet & urban homesteader. All my life I have been a gardener. Even in college, living in a studio apartment in a Victorian house, I grew organically in pots on my porch and my stairs. When I finally bought a house, it was so that I could have a big garden and plant trees. I will never have acres of land, but I finally have a veg garden, 14 fruit trees & grapes, and chickens. I can and freeze and dehydrate, not everything or all the time, but enough that I feel I have built a pretty well-stocked pantry. I am still learning and I watch your channel , one, because I like your energy and, two, because your townhouse is closer to my little operation than most homesteading channels, and three, because you are doing some things I haven't done, like butchering my own meat. My 4 feathered ladies provide me with eggs and fertillizer and entertainment. BTW, mostl of my family is too fertile, but in the case of my grandmother, she thought she was not going to be able to have chidren so she adopted. Then, she found out she was pregnant with my mother. Glad to hear that you decided to reduce your stress.

Hey Cassandra. I know it’s a little late but I just watched the video about your replacement freezer and everybody telling you not to over fill it. DO NOT LISTEN to those folks, as long as there is air flow, fridges and freezers work more efficiently when they are fuller as it is easier for the machine to cool food than it is to cool empty space. When we were trying to have a baby, I would be so jealous if someone else got pregnant. A horrible feeling. Oh, I could get pregnant, just couldn't keep one. Fertility treatment and finally just one bed rest and we got our daughter. She is a miracle to us. The pain of trying and failing month after month, really can put you in a very bad place.

Farm Girl, let me tell you. I do both, deer and turkey hunting. I enjoy to quite time in the woods, watching the woods wake up and the overall peacefulness. But turkey hunting…it down right exhilarating hearing them gobble and getting them to come towards that call. Also, I watched last year’s video, and every time I see one of your videos I pray that you and Trey will have the desires of your hearts to raise a family. Be blessed sweet lady.

I stumbled on you when I was looking for a cherry pie filling to can. It turned out yummy, but I loved that you show a canned item, then you give several examples of how to use it. I love how you are relatable and warm and real. I feel like I'm in the kitchen with a cup of tea & we're just chit chatting. I love how you teach about cooking rather than teaching recipes. I love that you're showing how your skill development before you have the end product. The way you approach life is encouraging to see and reflects in all the videos I've seen. Thank you for putting yourself (and your family) out there for us, I don't feel alone or that I'm not doing enough. We're all on a journey and I appreciate you sharing yours. A friend of mine gave up gluten for a short time in order to conceive. Not sure if you heard this yet 🙏 she had serious stress and even had a seizure from it once. The best fertility doctors.. even left stool samples at her door to be analyzed before the gluten free idea was suggested by a holistic doctor. Don’t mean to give false hope if you’ve tried this. Good luck to you sweetie, meditate and visualize your life with baby. We can’t wait to hear when your blessings come to fruition❤️❤️❤️

Have you heard about the spoon theory? The spoon theory is that you have X spoons at the beginning of the day. You only have that many spoons to spend throughout the day on activities and tasks. When the spoons are gone, you are done for the day. Your day may keep going, and that puts you in the negative. Some days, you may start with less spoons or more spoons.
I share this because it sounds like you have been spending your spoons and going into the negative for a long time. When you cannot go any further, it is ok to stop and give yourself grace. We can only do what we can do. Take the strength from those around you, including the emails you receive, and know a community supports you.

My friend, you are spot on and you are right---the work that I have loved and poured so much time and training has slowly been pulling a lot out of me in a way that has been tough. You heard me admit that I thought I could do both, but there are a number of factors that I should've walked away earlier than now, but, now that I'm transitioning out, I'm very hopeful it'll give y body time to heal to prepare for a baby (either way the Lord brings him/her to us). Thank you, sweet friend!

I was glad to hear that you chose a less stressful career. I'm not sure anyone really understood just how damaging stress is for.our bodies...not when my stress began. Making changes to de-streas my life had been the best thing I could have done for my health. That is just one of many journeys that will continue for me through this year and beyond. I have no idea if minimizing stress will allow your body to heal so that you can become pregnant. ..only God knows the plan He has for you...but I do know it will make you a better mom when your turn comes. Praying for you daily.🙏

I am so sorry you are going through this. I went thru 10 years of trying and every month I mourned for a baby I thought might be there. I did this for so long. I finally had a son. Who was born premature by 12 weeks. Weighing 2.5 lbs. kind of a nightmare. We went through so much and many medical problems and surgeries. He is now 33yrs old. Married to a wonderful girl, has two sons and one baby on the way, pure bliss,I never would have dreamt this would happen.

Married 9 years trying for the last 3 or so.😔 We decided early in this journey that if it wasnt meant to be then that was ok, but it doesnt make the disappointment every month any easier to bear. Nor the pain of baby showers, baby announcements and things like that. Prayers and love to you! May Gods will be done in your journey.

My husband and I we are still trying too and every end month, I keep wishing that this will be the month but got disappointed over and over again. And it can be hard but we have a good God who I put my trust in. Without God, I don't know if I can even get up every morning.. I have surrendered it all to God. I have peace and the boy of God that helps me to move.
Continue trying sis, don't give up, hold on onto God's word, trust in Him. You will have babies in Jesus name. I will be praying for you and I will be praying for your adoption process to go well

You are such an AMAZING & TALENTED woman!!! The first video I watched of yours was about your apothecary, and without knowing anything about you, thought right away you were a military wife, and how exciting to know that Yes, indeed you are!!! My Father was Air Force, my husband is a deputy sheriff, and all three of our sons are Air Force! My husband & I have just this year embarked on homesteading, with the purchase of 15 acres, nigerian dwarf goats, chickens, barn cats & a Great Pyrenees livestock dog! We harvested meat chickens for the first time with friends and WOW, what an incredible experience! I also LOVE all things herbs, medicinal & and culinary, and gained much inspiration from your apothecary video!

    Hi blessed woman of God
I had an infertility situation when I was younger
I was frustrated and cried a lot, and then I finally got pregnant after being married a while, but
    Miscarried at about 3 months
    I got depressed but
When I gave up on getting pregnant, I had a dream about a beautiful little baby girl
But I thought the dream must be for a friend of mine
    But God !!!!!
    It was exactly for me
    HALLELUJAH
When I gave up and stopped stressing, it happened
I had my first daughter, my son 5 years later, and another daughter 6 years after
So my advice as a 74 year old
    STOP THINKING ABOUT IT
    " FORGET ABOUT IT "
    Then, watch God do it
NO MORE STRESSING IN JESUS NAME ❤🙏❤️

This was so encouraging!❤ I’m 32 and my husband and I 3yrs married, 2yrs trying to conceive. As a child, I always wanted 10 children. I still would absolutely LOVE to have 10 children ( natural or adopted). I’m not sure if you’re a fellow Christ-follower, but being in God’s word regularly and learning more about who He is and His goodness, regardless of how I feel about His answer of “not yet” or possibly “no,” He is still a good Father!
Stay encouraged, Cassie! Your joyful spirit really is a light to the world. Thank you!❤
