Titanium is great, but it's not a metal you want to use for knives and swords. Unlike steel titanium sucks at holding an edge, you'll almost have to resharpen it every time you use it. Like you said jewelry or display at most

King Tut’s dagger made from meteorite was not oxidized at all. Most meteorites that hit earth have such high nickel content that impedes oxidation that I almost don’t think that this has real meteorite 🤔

While I agree that Tony charges too much for his knives, the blade steel is most likely m390 that has been hand polished to a scratch free mirror, it has titanium hardware, and it's actually kinda difficult to make a folding knife with good tolerance. Just the cost of materials without the meteorite it is a $300 knife. Then when you take into account the hand work that went into it, the price starts climbing.
I think it should be around $3k, but that's just me.

Don't get me wrong the knife looks nice but it definitely doesn't look 6000 dolara nice. Real meteorite is also known as normal iron, or any other material the meteorite is made out of (there isn't some special material quality added to it because it was in space.). And all the other materials here aren't extremely rare. Some of the price is definitely craftsmanship but again it isn't a 6000 super knife. This is definitely personal preference but if you are going to buy a fancy display knife that you aren't going to use, you might as well buy a fixed blade knife. They look nicer and you can find queuing works of art with precious metals and gems that cost way less then 6000 dollars.

That’s why most rare furs are valuable despite them being the same material as any other. Think about literally all jewelry, most luxury cars, collectors items, ect. Rich people like rare things.
Actually you're wrong, there is something called gibeon meteorite which is extremely rare compared to regular meteorite and has iridium in it. That is what is used in this knife
For what it is it's way overpriced.
None of the materials are actually worth that much or so rare that it would justify that price point.
One can't even argue with it being handcrafted due to the obviously machine-made parts.

Material choices are questionable at best, like titanium bolts in the handle? A brittle thing like that in the part assembly that will exert all sorts of shear forces on the bolts...
TLDR: it's a more sophisticated gas station knife, best I can do is 70 bucks

My most expensive knife is a high endurance military/survival knife you can dance on while it's stuck to a tree, it can pry open borderline anything and it cuts like you wouldn't believe, trees, paper, it doesn't matter.

A more realistic price is about 1500-2000 but the craftsmanship plays a huge part. If you’ve ever made a blade, which I can bet you haven’t, it takes skill and time

Yeah....not many are likely to _buy_ it, either. I've had the same $80 knife (that I got on clearance for $20) on my side for almost ten years now. I've had it sharpened once, and I've sharpened it only a handful of times, and it does more than I need.y suggestion? Get a semi-decent "survival" knife, and it will cut boxes, rope, and any other EDC "tool knife" needs. I'm sure this is common knowledge, but....please don't buy a $6k knife...unless you have more money than God, I guess...but I do _not._

No, I understand. I even have a "collector's" pocket knife myself. It was a gift, and it is/was worth about $200 brand new. The first bit was obviously quoting the video poster, and the second bit was just a rant about how absurd the price was, for what would instantly become a near-worthless knife as soon as you cut some fishing line with it. Knives as art is cool, but only if you _could_ use it. The only reason I never carried mine is because it isn't a lockblade... How do you make a knife that-...you know what? Nevermind
