Thanks! And a video on holds sounds like a good idea. Once they are added (which according to the devs will be pretty soon) I'll be sure to get a guide up as soon as I can.
Hey my Aircraft is no longer catching the glide slope or localizer even when I’m at the correct altitude and heading. It just ignores it. I had APPR mode turned on too. Any idea why this is happening?
Hello, i have a couple of questions, where is the trim button or controller and the trim indicator on the CJ4 . Any hint will be highly appreciated . I need to see the trim indicator without having to go external view on msfs
There is an elevator and rudder trim indicator on the MFDs in the top right corner above the flaps indicator. You can also press the 'SYS' button twice (located below the MFD) and it will give you a trim number as well as the normal trim level indicator. Edit: The trim button itself is on the control yoke but it is not physically modeled as a moveable switch.
Yeah, the time-to-altitude is pretty much spot on according to the devs who have the actual operating handbook of the plane. Same for the N1 and fuel flow at various altitudes. The flight model in 0.9.0+ is pretty much as accurate as the flight model is going to get within the limitations of the sim.
For charts I use Airnav.com and Skyvector. I don’t know of any way to overlay charts with Navigraph, I’ve only ever used it for a month though so maybe someone else knows more.
@@windhover2021 ok, what do you use to view those AirNav charts in the sim? Can you view the chart and click inside the cockpit without it disappearing?
J D ah, I recorded the briefing separately then just clipped and overlayed that video on a video of the plane in cruise.. While I’m flying I have to keep charts on my second monitor to see them.
I've heard of this issue before. I believe has something to do with the flight planner that Asobo is using. I've never experienced it but I know a bunch of people including some of the devs in WT have had it happen to them. They are currently working on an independent flight plan manager to bypass all of the issues caused by the default system.
@@locosk8er No, it's around $100 USD. I bought mine probably over 10 years ago. There's other headtrackers available, though, that are free such as Open Track.
Updated guide on flying ILS approaches with the WT CJ4 mod can be found here: th-cam.com/video/chjn1xMNTPY/w-d-xo.html
Just wanted to say thank you for all your videos .. I’m mostly xplane but your tweaking my interest in fs2020
Thanks a lot for the video, great content :-)
Thanks for the video. As soon as holdings are implemented in the Mod I would love to see a missed approach and holding guide :)

Thank you. Can you do a close shot of the FMS and Slowly go through the buttons for set up..please
Sure.
That would be great as I would like to set this aircraft up properly. Thank you so much

How is it possible to set a NAV2 frequency ? With the current version of the CJ4 I have the problem that the FMS is not accepting an NAV2 frequency
About 10:30 in this clip th-cam.com/video/mtYqX9AjiZA/w-d-xo.html explains how to alternate between vors.
Thank you for this ! I may have missed but is there a way to input minimums to get a callout at such point? Thx !
Yup, REFS MENU is what you are looking for.
Hi Windhover another great video as always. Are you using Trackir? Your profile looks good - would you mind sharing it at all? Cheers!
Thanks! And yes, I'm using TrackIR5 w/ this profile: www.mediafire.com/file/8u9cyeae4zvjcvl/Windhover.xml/file
@@windhover2021 awesome thanks mate!

Only thing I know of is a bug where APPR mode doesn't work when there is no approach loaded in the FMC.

Ya think the flight model and power is realistic for this aircraft?

What are you using for chart viewer? Do you know if there is a way to have Navigraph Charts overlay the sim so it stays visible

i select the runway and transition but once i hit execute it turns the plane around every time.

how do you make yourr look around thing realistic. it looks like your in the plane. can I know?
I use TrackIR 5 for head tracking
@@windhover2021 is it free by chance

Auto throttle?? Ya didn't say, or i missed it....
No auto throttle in the CJ4, power is all manually controlled by the pilot.
@@windhover2021 Sorry, I should've checked first....
