    I’m waiting on these right now and your review just made me even MORE excited for them to arrive! Truly, thanks for this because there really aren’t any reviews out there! I’m also particular about how things fit because I was in healthcare for years and on my feet so much and my feet are very flat. I have heard great things about this boot for wider feet. So, this was very helpful, thanks again!

    Thank you so much for this review! 💚 I am thinking about the berry red one. I can't wait to see more update about these.

      @@Robotjim318 I went with the green and I’m super happy with my purchase. They were exactly what I needed out of the box except I did add gummier outdoor wheels for my terrible asphalt.

      @@Robotjim318 I selected the red skates! I think they're great skates but the wide wheel-base took some getting used to. I'm also not a huge fan of the wheels, but I swapped them for some Zen wheels and have been enjoying them a lot! Overall, I'd give them a 8/10.

    I have the berry red ones, 2 weeks skating daily and I absolutely LOVE them, worth every penny! I want to put toe guards on, but can’t figure out how to remove the stoppers. They are really in there tight. If you have any tips for taking them off I’d appreciate it. Great review, thank you!

    I have the deluxe and the elites. Have been waiting around for someone to make a video about these. Thank you. I’m still considering buying them. Wondering what the material quality is as I tend to skate outside and don’t want to fall on them and have them rip after a few falls. I also agree the toe stops on these are amazing as well as having the upgraded cushions.

    I love my big softies, I have the red ones too and they are amazing, and my favorite part is they don't pick up grime, I've never had to clean them off. I have several kinds of wheels, 3 sets of Pulse wheels, which are awesome too and they also always stay clean. High energy, Moxi Gummy, 2 sets of Octo Paseo, Pink Sure Grip Gravity Glitter rollers, 3 sets of the Luminous wheels that light up, 2 sets of Kemistry, one that came with Chuffed skates, and out of all that I think the Big Softies are my absolute favorites, followed by the Pulse Glitter and the Sure Grip Gravity Glitter rollers that i just got and already love. Another thing i love about the Big Softies is that the paint doesnt flake off of them. The heart design stays on, unlike the designs on alot of soft wheels.. The pulse wheels lettering stays on too. Those sure grip wheels i just spent 80 bucks on plus tax and shipping- some paint flaked off on first use. I did easily scrape ALL the rest off with a knife and theres literally no trace of it now and they look amazing. But the fact that they flaked that quick is a bummer. Same with the high energy wheels, flaked badly first use. And those have big lettering!! The rounded wheels Chaya uses do pick up grime though. I have 2 pairs of Chayas skates and they're the most comfortable I've tried. I have wide feet and they feel like sneakers outta the box. I have the Melrose Elite and the Vintage Sunset Beach, and have them all customized with different laces and wheels, patches, star shaped toe stops on both, the whole deal. My Candi Girl skates KILL my feet and then I got some Moxi Panthers which were better but they still hurt enough in one spot on the toe that after an hour it's pretty unbearable. Comfort IS super important because if your skate hurts anywhere its pretty hard to think of anything else after a couple hours. Chaya is so comfortable I'm so glad I found them. Thanks for the review, you're right about there not being much about these, and really not a whole lot on here about Chayas at all. I've really had my eye on the premium berry red pair lately. 😁

    So how do you feel about the skates after all this time? I'm planning to upgrade my melrose elites to these, but I mostly do a bit more aggressive outdoors and park skating.

    • @Eerie_Canal
      @Eerie_Canal 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Idk if you’ll see this but I think these would be a really solid upgrade for not too much more money. They DEF took a lot to break them in but the support is excellent for park skating, and I really like the weight of the plate and the lack of flex as compared to the non-metal plate. Much more movement once they’re broken in than any other synthetic heeled boots I’ve skated. The only issue I’ve noticed is that the heel is a bit more…mobile…than the plastic heels on any other riedell or chuffed skates I’ve used. As an intermediate skater I think these are 100% solid as an outdoor skate right out of the box.

    • @liliana.6053
      @liliana.6053 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Eerie_Canal what do you mean by the heels being more mobile? Do they like flex or something? Or the foot has more movement in the heels?

    Hey, I hope you don't mind me asking you a question. I'm usually a UK size 8 (41/42) and I've measure my foot at 260mm which is a size 41 on the chart for these skates. I'm worried encase they may be too small once they arrive. Did you find these skates tight or anything, do you find your feet have enough room? Thank you

    Thanks for the reviews.I’m getting mine in a day or two. I like the white ones too. Got some panthers recently. Stiff but I am smashing them with my heal. They are a men’s 6. They were a little narrow and the toe was just right. May put a blow dryer on them to help. They have pvc in them I guess. Went with a 7 as some videos said they ran small. I am. 7-71/2. I figure I can add an insole. Skating around my kitchen. Be made Blissful everyone!

      I have the Panthers and the Chaya Melrose Elite. Also have Chaya Vintage Sunset Beach. The Panthers are more comfy than my Candi Girls which are super narrow and hurt me quite alot - but they still hurt on one spot . Right pinky toe. Left is fine. I bought a boot stretcher from Amazon and it helped alot but still uncomfortable in that one spot and it gets painful after a while. I need to keep the strecher in them longer. I have 2 pairs of Chayas though and they literally feel like sneakers and don't hurt my short but wide feet anywhere at all, even if I wear them for HOURS. I skate around the house late into the night lol. Actually about to take them off and go to bed. Comfy right out of the box. :)

      I’m actually deciding between the panther and Melrose premiums. It’s the two skates that tick my boxes and I can try on in a store. One major drawback for the panther is that I’m a straight guy and I don’t have a wardrobe that can rock leopard print. But seeing the reviews it does seem like the Chaya’s are worth paying more for. Both are heavily discounted now in my area.
