Ben, in all honesty I want to say thanks. I've just always considered electrical work like this to be way over my head, but the way you just go through and explain everything so plainly (making it clear that it doesn't really need to be dumbed-down) makes electrical projects seem like a lot of fun.
A power supply straight above a computer motherboard. Well, there are good reason why laptops have the power supply units externally. But over all: Cool show. I especially like you product design. When you´re done, it looks like a prototype of an actual product. My projects usually ended with lose boards :)
I think it was considered to be fine since it's just a monitor power supply. That can't be too bad. Although I'm committing sin replying to such an old comment.
That was always my problem with the Rockband guitars, the click really helps when playing on hard or expert. Luckily the World Tour guitar works with all of them on PS3.
better idea? Making a button based controller that will simulate a rock band drum kit (including the crappy foot pedal) That I would LOVE. Hell even just getting rid of the foot pedal part and making it into another cymbal! (i hate the damn pedal!!)

The best and easiest mod for Rock Band, has to be adding a microswitch to the guitar strum, makes all the difference!
