@@jesclle BEG haven't released an original album since 2015. RE_vive is a cover album that came out 2 years ago. So I wouldn't call them "Active". To be fair Apink have been putting out albums every year since 2011 so they also deserve some credit. In the end they're all good groups that put out good music.

T-ara’s impact back in 2009-2014 was out of this world. If you live in Asia when T-ara was one the most famous groups you cant escape from T-ara. You would hear their songs everywhereeeee in Asia. Like its a fact Im not exaggerating it

Oh no that wasn’t the original version of Roly Poly! That was a different version/remix, you should really check out the original as well it’s even better & straight up screams disco vibes.
If you’re ever gonna react to more T-ara in the future, I’d suggest their other songs that aren’t very EDM: Cry Cry, Like The First Time, I Go Crazy Because of You, Day By Day. Also just a bit of extra info if you’re interested: T-ara & 15-minute long drama mvs were a thing for a period of time which is why for some songs they’d have multiple versions of mvs for 1 song. Cry Cry (pt. 1) & Lovey Dovey (pt. 2) is a continuation of one another, same goes for Day By Day (pt. 1) & Sexy Love (pt. 2).

The MV you watched for Roly Poly is not the original version of the song. This one is called Roly Poly in Copacabana, basically a Remix from Roly Poly. I recommend you listening to the real version of the song because it sounds more funky, more disco and absolutely more FUN. Anyway thank you for reacting to T-ARA

T-ara are known for two things: their club sound and their ballads. All of the songs you reacted to today were from the club side, but it would be nice to see you react to their famous ballads as well. Most of them are b-sides without a mv, but for example "We were in love" and "Cry cry ballad version" have a music video. There's also "Don't leave", which is the most beautiful song I have ever heard, but sadly it doesn't have an mv, but some live performances do exist.
No matter what kind of a 2ND kpop generation stan you are.... we will all still bop to T-ARA

The 20 minute movie (from the 2 MVs) is one of the greatest things I've ever seen in kpop. There's a combined full-movie version with subs for the lyrics and the spoken dialogue on my channel...
I second this... don't get put off by the run time you can actually skip about 7 minutes off the end of both the videos as its just out takes and shenanigans....
T-ara has many other catchy songs and ballad songs such as So Crazy, We were in love, Cry cry, Day By Day, Sexy Love (concept robot), Tiamo, Bo peep bo peep, Time to love,... I hope you like them

T-ARA will perform at Fan Party "Return of the Queens" on Nov 21. You can purchase online ticket on interpark. T-ara said they will not doing a promotion on music shows (music bank, inkigayo, etc) because 4 of them has different schedule and 3 of them didn't have agency so it might be difficult for them to manage it alone.

I got into T-ara's music when Day By Day was realesed (hope you eventually react to this one. It's one of the best kpop mv's ever!). Sugar Free and Number 9 are my 2 favs from them and I'm not a huge edm person. They nailed that style!
2nd generation Kpop had some of catchiest songs in music. I really miss groups like T-ara , Kara and 2NE1.
T-ara are known as the "kpop chameleon" for they can absorb and do any theme but they are also known as EDM Queens and known also for there choreo as its catchy as fuck and super easy to dance along to(haters always keep saying their choreo simple but many loves it coz its easy to remember and jibes in)I actually still remember all their choreo(the catchy parts) since the "lie" era😄
T-ara did say that their choreography are easy to learn so people can enjoy dancing along, that's what makes it fun..
Yayyy so excited to see you react to T-ara!! Their tracks are literal ear worms! The Roly Poly Copacabana version came out after the original Roly Poly but both versions are certified bops. I highly recommend you check out the original too!

There's just so much to say about T-ARA and their music. They are *incredibly* talented. It's almost too much to list: singing, dancing - of course. But they've all appeared in TV shows and movies as actresses as well. Two of them have black belts in taekwondo. They all speak multiple languages. Hyomin is a fashion designer, painter, and chef. Qri is a jewelry and fashion designer. Eunjung does so many things I can't even list them. They all are talented in so many ways, it's almost unreal. T-ARA's discography is absolutely second to none in kpop. They have a huge number of fantastic songs (several of the top-selling kpop songs of all time are T-ARA's). There are so many more of their I think you would enjoy - Bo Peep Bo Peep (the first song that really got them noticed), Sexy Love, Day by Day, and so many more. Their vocals are fantastic - listen to their ballad songs, like "Why We Separated." Watch the dance practice video for "Lovey Dovey." The shuffle dance choreo is super hard - people said it was one of the hardest choreos done by a girl group (and in live concerts, they did it in high heels!). The drama versions of their videos are absolutely unbelievable - like short movies - and are some of the most expensive kpop MV's ever done. Roly Poly is *still* the #1 selling song by a kpop girl group. They've done just about every concept you can imagine; they are known as the chameleons of kpop, because they can have have done so many difference concepts, from super cutesy to dark to hip-hop to hard-core EDM to pure vocal ballads. On top of their incredible talent, they are super nice and love their fans. The Tiki Taka album and MVs they paid to produce with their own money because they'd promised their fans they would do a comeback. And to add to all of that, every member of T-ARA is drop-dead model gorgeous, and Park Jiyeon (the visual of the group) has been voted one of the most beautiful women in the world. As I'm sure you can tell, I'm a huge fan, but once you start following them and learn more about them and their history, all they have overcome, I think most people become another of T-ARA's Queen's (the fans of T-ARA).
The rap part in number nine is one of my fav rap part (and dance at the same time) in all gen of kpop
T-ARA one of my favorite 2nd gen GGs.......Their song just addicting. Roly Poly is one of the songs that i cant forget since it has been played so many times in K variety show. (esp Running man). Anyone mention Bee pop Bee pop.. that song as catchy as gee SNSD

To me Dreamcatcher and T-ARA have something in common and that is one of the reason they're my ult.. You need an specific taste of music to like their main tracks but when you include their b-sides they have the best discography of their generation
I imagined you would like their older stuff more after sugar free and tiki taka so I definitely recommend checking og roly poly, bo beep, sexy love, day by day, lies etc and maybe so crazy but there is so much more that you can react to pls do part 2

During my 12 years of kpoper life, I've never seen that high level of beautiful woman like Jiyeon fact.
In my opinion there best selection of songs is from the first album. If it has a mv then the song slaps.

T-ARA is the EDM Queens, actually, each group from the 2nd Gen have their own identity when it comes to their music & mvs which is why there were so many Kpop fans back then who are multi-stan that enjoys music and idols interactions.

A few things to add if you didn't know already and may potentially be interested in:
You watched the 2nd Roly Poly MV which is basically just a re-release of the same song that MBK (T-ara's company at the time) decided to edit slightly and release due to the overwhelming popularity Roly Poly had in 2011. This being said the original MV is similar to the Lovey Dovey MV whereby it's a bit of a story w/ the song playing somewhat throughout.
Sugar Free was the first time that type of EDM hit Kpop and T-ara were the frontrunners on bringing it to the industry... following that release there was an avalanche of other EDM songs for the next year or two and the genre grew old and tiresome.
T-ara also have Drama MVs for Cry Cry/Lovey Dovey and Day by Day/Sexy Love and I would HIGHLY recommend watching them as once again, T-ara were the first group to make proper drama MVs for their songs on top of the regular song MV. They're ~20 minutes long each so make sure you have time - it's well worth it though!
Otherwise thank you for this video, it's really great to see people not just reacting to videos and saying the sun shines of the song's ass for every.single.release. Your honesty is refreshing and you're still able to be positive even though some elements may not be your cup of tea! Definitely subscribing and looking forward to future videos :)

I picked up their debut album on a whim shortly after it came out and fell in love with T-ara immediately. Bought every album when it was released since then and was never disappointed.

BTW, they released a limited special album that had multiple remixes of "Sugar Free" which should satiate any lovers of low sugar EDM dance music. *edit* -- Just pulled out the album and it actually contains 18 (yes 18) remixes of "Sugar Free". They are known for contributing so much to k-pop with their unique sound and their massive hits. Roly Poly is an anthem at this point, one of the most sold girlgroups songs in kpop history.

I remember liking T-ARA back in the day, but they didn't grab me enough to stan them. But they seem to have maintained ageless elegance. It remains to be seen if they remain active or just have a one-shot reunion, like that of the equally ageless SES.
