when i try to open the project it says that it was made for Godot 3.x and it has to be update to 4.x, but when i update the project it just breaks it and it crashes :/

RPU crashes when Godot asks to update the files from 3.x to 4.x. How do I solve this please?
i have one issue. RPU is downloaded, i can open it, but when i do its blank and im unable to input any of my info. what should i do? should i try a different godot installation method?

If you guys are having issues with Godot itself, it only works with the LTS version of the Godot Engine, which is 3.5.1 or later. As mentioned in the readme in the new version, it won't work with version 4. Download Godot 3.x here: godotengine.org/download/3.x/windows/
still have these:
- Warning: Notarization is disabled. The exported project will be blocked by Gatekeeper if it's downloaded from an unknown source.
- Hardened Runtime is not compatible with ad-hoc signature, and will be disabled!
- Timestamping is not compatible with ad-hoc signature, and will be disabled!
@@DogeyboyThePieChow same, I had the text in red before I fixed it to yellow. I did manage to get it working for MacOS. I simply just exported it anyways but got an error saying I needed to turn on 'Disable Library Validation.' I went back, scrolled down in the Options tab and turned *that* on -and even though it exported sucessfully, those elements were disabled. Anyways, i tried opening the new .dmg and it works. It displays my games alright

On part 3, my tabs show Wii U, the Nintendo Network ID logo, and some figure that I don't recognize. Why is that?
Thats not what i wanted,is there any possible for an actual presence ? (like connecting ur switch to that presence)
problem is it literally just shows documents for me, i cant do anything else.....
it's crazy how sony and now Nintendo are late to the party , i remember i've used for months a program on my mac to display my status on Playstation cos it was't supported, since a few months it is finally , but i will never get why these japanese compagnies that i love are so late in features like community one, i still mainly play on xbox series instead of PS5 just because it way easier to find people to play with from the console itself , and i'm so intrigued at why sony dished the perfect PS4 UI for this empty PS5 UI that has nothing for it and is lacking everything they built on PS4... and nintendo is always 20 years late to the game , i mean it's crazy that in 2022 the switch still does less than what a dreamcast or an OG Xbox could do in terms of connecting people and the internet.

So when I try to upload this it says something about you have 3 options and if I pick any of the options one being covert full project another being convert project.godot only and cancel if I choose any of these it will kick me out and when I try to run the project it crashes?

I'm having a small issue with godot. it says rich presence U was created on godot 3 and needed to be updated to godot 4. After I had updated it there was multiple errors when implementing rich presence, same errors happen even when I implemented the most recent rich presence. I tried downloading an older godot 3. it implemented properly but it wouldn't let me export it. Is this fixable?

This wouldn’t make them be able to see u playing currently right. Kind of like streaming the game to them?
This is a manual app to display the current game you’re playing. For example: If I’m playing Mario Kart 7 on my 3DS XL, I’ll just use RPU to show that status. You can’t actually stream it, unless you’re playing from an emulator on PC.

the status on my discord goes off when I exit the rich presence U app
It needs to stay open in order for it to keep working! Only way to counter this is to minimize it.

Its not letting me download it im trying to make it run on Mac. Its saying
Invalid bundle identifier is missing

@@_Reticent_ Error when exporting project comes up with 'Ad-hoc signed applicants require the 'disable Library Validation' entitlement to load dynamic libraries'
I believe it asks you something about library validation. If it does, turn it on.
@@_Reticent_ Hmm..I tried a lot of things like disabling gatekeeper but it still gives the same error :(
I think the best option to do right now is to join Ninstar’s Discord to have you help with that!

Nope! You can also get it as a .exe or .zip file

spent two hours on this 💀 i am giving up lmao. rich presence u is not showing up like yours. downloaded too much stuff and spent too much time to even care anymore tbh
the same thing happened to me, the UI was all messed up and stuff, right? if u had the same problem, u need to use godot 3.5.2 instead of 4.0

13-20 my ass, I honestly don't know what internet this guy has, but takes me 2 1/2 - 3 minutes
LOL, believe it or not, that was the estimated time for my download on Steam for some reason and it did take a while. Normally Steam downloads my games quickly, but in this case it didn’t for Godot. 😂
