Great to see this VR Patrick, knew this would be a unigue take, very interesting. Resi Code Veronica X is a great choice, that was indeed brilliant. I'll be honest I was so disappointed with the first Resi movie at the time as was not what I expected, but having then followed the whole series I'm much happier watching it back knowing the direction they took. I quite enjoyed all of them tbh, not brilliant but enjoyable enough.

My favorite genre of video games is role-playing and adventure games. I love getting lost in immersive worlds where I can take on different characters and embark on exciting quests. These games not only entertain me but also allow me to explore new stories and experiences 😊

What sort of games do you like to play? - It'll probably come as no surprise that stealth action and survival horror are easily my favorite genres, but I do enjoy some hack n' slash, sports and first/third person shooters as well. 2. How much time do you spend playing games? - Way too much 😂 however it does vary, there are times when I don't feel like gaming as much. 3. Do you think games can be educational? - Oh absolutely they can be! It's not even a matter of opinion. Games have taught me much more of the English language than school ever did, and MGS especially has taught me many things in regards to history and the world as the story includes many real-world events, things and people.
4. What don’t I like about video games? - Gonna have to agree with you on the greedy game companies with this one. The microtransactions, DLC's, loot boxes etc. that are abused by some companies is just horrendous. There are many companies out there that look to make as much profit as possible while putting in as little effort as possible. 5. How much do you spend on games? - I don't spend all that much in general, but I do have a guilty pleasure called Overwatch that I spend way too much money on. Blizzard is one of those companies that the previous question's answer describes very well, but OW has become my "go-to game" in recent years so despite absolutely hating the fact that I give money to such a morally corrupt company, I also can't help myself. Guess it's ok as long as I'm not supporting any other companies like Blizzard I guess... 😅 6. What is your favourite games console? - I have 2 answers for this: Of all-time, I would say PS3. I think it overall just has the best games, as well as a backwards compatibility with PS1 games, not to mention how you no longer had to pray for the game to work whenever you booted it up unlike with PS1/PS2 😂And if you did have a faulty disc, you could always get a digital version instead, eliminating the issue. Currently my favorite would be PS5 though, I can't really find a single thing wrong with it, other than the lack of a backwards compatibility. The console, its features, controller and performance are all brilliant! 7. What is your favourite video game? - Probably the easiest question so far 😂 My favorite is video game of all-time is MGS2. I loved it back when I was a kid, and I love it now, over 20 years later. I could write a very long text about everything I like about it, but looking at how ridiculously long this comment has already become, I will just say that it's as close to perfection as any game that I've played has gotten. 8. Favourite video game movie? - Uhh... I literally can't think of a single good video game movie so I'll pick the same one as you and go with the very first live-action Resident Evil film. That one was at least decent 😆 9. Favourite video game character? - I haven't really ever had a crystal clear favorite character unlike I have a crystal clear favorite game and favorite franchise, but Solid Snake is the one who popped up in my head first, so we'll go with the legendary hero who wouldn't agree with me if he heard me call him a legendary hero 😂 10. Least favourite type of game? - I guess racing games would have to be it. I've just never enjoyed racing at all. I don't enjoy watching it and I don't enjoy playing it. This is very nice, I may have to do one of these buddy. I used to have PlayStation Plus account and after I cancelled the subscription all my games were no longer accessible. 😢 it was a bummer especially how I was downloading VR games to play when I finally got a VR headset.

1. Social Style Games. World oF Warcraft, VRChat, RUST etc. MMORPGs/Survival Sandbox world building type stuff. 2. As much as possible, I’d go ready player one if I could… until I get burned out at least. 3. Yes, games can be educational bit from an academic Standpoint, we are learning about historical events and timelines or even from a technical standpoint like learning in a flight sim of figuring out blender and scripting. To many ways to list. 4. Priorities, video games can distract me from getting things done that I need done in real life and yeah price it can get costly on a hardware perspective. Keeping up with hardware. 5. On games themselves I tend to stay a few years behind on trends and utilize sales and bargain bin pricing. Trickle down Ronald Reagan economics actually works pretty good in the gaming world because frankly code can’t wear out like a cheap car however being a PC gamer, keeping my hardware up-to-date can be expensive, although it’s not too bad. 6. Historically, my favorite game console was probably the PlayStation one or the Atari 2600 if talking what systems influence my life, Granted, I think the Sega Saturn was one of the best designs for its time with the built-in memory and such, although it flopped. Those are the two I played the most however currently it’s the valve steam deck. I feel every gamer should experience the steam deck. 7. I’ve probably got my most hours in World of Warcraft and Space Engineers maybe RUST but it’s hard to pick a favorite given the nature of gaming trends. 8. Night Trap 1992 SEGACD. RIP Dana Plato. 9. Some of these questions are impossible to answer. I’ll go with Felicia from DarkStalkers because she was one of the first Nicos I ever came across and influenced a lot of my art style back in the day. Plus, she’s got a pretty good storyline. Tails from sonic the hedgehog or Alice the rabbit being honorable mentions.. Can’t forget, Leon Kennedy, Big Boss, Salmon Belmont, Deckard Cane from Diablo, I mean there’s so many to list. I’m just gonna say Felicia because capcom catgirls. 10. Puzzle games. Don’t get me wrong I like the occasional puzzles in resident evil and how they’re done but games that are solely based on just doing puzzles. With a close runner up to the old school dungeon crawler games that were in the first person perspective that you could get really lost and confused in. P.s. Playing through RE2 remake now. On Leon’s story line not gotten to Claire yet but omg it’s soooooooooo good. I never got to play all the original 1998 version much as IRL priorities. But far as the atmosphere goes, they really nailed the remake of resident evil 2.. It’s one of the scary resident evil play throughs that sticks to its roots unlike some of later titles as you mentioned that go off the rails. I think after resident evil 4 the series kind of had an identity crisis where it tried to become metal gear solid but with zombies and got to over the top action oriented. Luckily with Village and 7 they fixed this.
Nice answers buddy fair play, World of Warcraft took up immense amounts of my 20s haha. I was more talking about the Resident Evil films going more off the rails over time wise but certainly similar can be said games wise as well, glad you're enjoying the Resident Evil 2 REmake man, it gets a lot of love overall, I enjoyed it overall but definitely still prefer the original RE2 as some lesser narritive changes they made in the REmake didn't float my boat. Awesome answers! I am planning on getting into resident evil soon as I have only finished 7 and most of 4. Your content mentioning it has really inspired that and I wanna try to beat some of them if not all of them. I tried playing the remake of 2 but I kinda get frozen when it comes to games with wondering enemies to run from. The PlayStation 4 and 5 having share factory is really cool for people who don’t have access to a computer strong enough to edit or have the want to learn software like that. I use the PS5’s record function for all of the games I play on it for reviews just because it’s so easy to do. The modern PlayStations are great and I’m glad you have such love for your 4. My 4 was one of my favorite consoles too. Thanks for sharing PJ!

Nicely done mate. Believe it or not I've not played the Resident Evil games other than a cursory go at the first one waaaay back. They get a lot of love so I should make time to try them - I guess it's better to play them in order rather than jump in to Code Veronica? I did watch the first few movies and enjoyed them - Milla Jovovich may have been part of that reason tho 😂
Thanks man I can understand not knowing were to begin Resident Evil wise, especially as if you don't have the nostalgia the older titles could be quite difficult to enjoy nowadays, there's 3 eras essentially Classic Survival Horror RE 0123CVX, Action Horror RE 456Revelations1&2, then first person Survival/Action horror RE 7/8. I'd recommend starting from the beginning with Resident Evil REmake but for me they all have their enjoyable aspects and fun factors so can't go too wrong. Just remember to be patient with the old school ones, you're supposed to be stuck a few times especially on a first playthrough. If you do dive in best of luck buddy haha.☣️👁🍀

Great to get to know you better, PJ! Code Veronica was huge for me on the Dreamcast, and it might just be my favorite, with Shenmue close in 2nd. Ever try Gunbarich? It’s like Arkanoid, but with enemies, bosses, and more forgiving and fun. So it’s kinda sorta a puzzler, but more actiony.

I think it overall just has the best games, as well as a backwards compatibility with PS1 games, not to mention how you no longer had to pray for the game to work whenever you booted it up unlike with PS1/PS2 😂And if you did have a faulty disc, you could always get a digital version instead, eliminating the issue.
Currently my favorite would be PS5 though, I can't really find a single thing wrong with it, other than the lack of a backwards compatibility. The console, its features, controller and performance are all brilliant!
7. What is your favourite video game?
- Probably the easiest question so far 😂 My favorite is video game of all-time is MGS2. I loved it back when I was a kid, and I love it now, over 20 years later. I could write a very long text about everything I like about it, but looking at how ridiculously long this comment has already become, I will just say that it's as close to perfection as any game that I've played has gotten.
8. Favourite video game movie?
- Uhh... I literally can't think of a single good video game movie so I'll pick the same one as you and go with the very first live-action Resident Evil film. That one was at least decent 😆
9. Favourite video game character?
- I haven't really ever had a crystal clear favorite character unlike I have a crystal clear favorite game and favorite franchise, but Solid Snake is the one who popped up in my head first, so we'll go with the legendary hero who wouldn't agree with me if he heard me call him a legendary hero 😂
10. Least favourite type of game?
- I guess racing games would have to be it. I've just never enjoyed racing at all. I don't enjoy watching it and I don't enjoy playing it. It's just something that's simply not for me.

This is very nice, I may have to do one of these buddy. I used to have PlayStation Plus account and after I cancelled the subscription all my games were no longer accessible. 😢 it was a bummer especially how I was downloading VR games to play when I finally got a VR headset.

1. Social Style Games. World oF Warcraft, VRChat, RUST etc. MMORPGs/Survival Sandbox world building type stuff.
2. As much as possible, I’d go ready player one if I could… until I get burned out at least.
3. Yes, games can be educational bit from an academic Standpoint, we are learning about historical events and timelines or even from a technical standpoint like learning in a flight sim of figuring out blender and scripting. To many ways to list.
4. Priorities, video games can distract me from getting things done that I need done in real life and yeah price it can get costly on a hardware perspective. Keeping up with hardware.
5. On games themselves I tend to stay a few years behind on trends and utilize sales and bargain bin pricing. Trickle down Ronald Reagan economics actually works pretty good in the gaming world because frankly code can’t wear out like a cheap car however being a PC gamer, keeping my hardware up-to-date can be expensive, although it’s not too bad.
6. Historically, my favorite game console was probably the PlayStation one or the Atari 2600 if talking what systems influence my life, Granted, I think the Sega Saturn was one of the best designs for its time with the built-in memory and such, although it flopped. Those are the two I played the most however currently it’s the valve steam deck. I feel every gamer should experience the steam deck.
7. I’ve probably got my most hours in World of Warcraft and Space Engineers maybe RUST but it’s hard to pick a favorite given the nature of gaming trends.

9. Some of these questions are impossible to answer. I’ll go with Felicia from DarkStalkers because she was one of the first Nicos I ever came across and influenced a lot of my art style back in the day. Plus, she’s got a pretty good storyline. Tails from sonic the hedgehog or Alice the rabbit being honorable mentions.. Can’t forget, Leon Kennedy, Big Boss, Salmon Belmont, Deckard Cane from Diablo, I mean there’s so many to list. I’m just gonna say Felicia because capcom catgirls.
10. Puzzle games. Don’t get me wrong I like the occasional puzzles in resident evil and how they’re done but games that are solely based on just doing puzzles. With a close runner up to the old school dungeon crawler games that were in the first person perspective that you could get really lost and confused in.
P.s. Playing through RE2 remake now. On Leon’s story line not gotten to Claire yet but omg it’s soooooooooo good. I never got to play all the original 1998 version much as IRL priorities. But far as the atmosphere goes, they really nailed the remake of resident evil 2.. It’s one of the scary resident evil play throughs that sticks to its roots unlike some of later titles as you mentioned that go off the rails. I think after resident evil 4 the series kind of had an identity crisis where it tried to become metal gear solid but with zombies and got to over the top action oriented. Luckily with Village and 7 they fixed this.
Nice answers buddy fair play, World of Warcraft took up immense amounts of my 20s haha. I was more talking about the Resident Evil films going more off the rails over time wise but certainly similar can be said games wise as well, glad you're enjoying the Resident Evil 2 REmake man, it gets a lot of love overall, I enjoyed it overall but definitely still prefer the original RE2 as some lesser narritive changes they made in the REmake didn't float my boat. Awesome answers! I am planning on getting into resident evil soon as I have only finished 7 and most of 4. Your content mentioning it has really inspired that and I wanna try to beat some of them if not all of them. I tried playing the remake of 2 but I kinda get frozen when it comes to games with wondering enemies to run from.
The PlayStation 4 and 5 having share factory is really cool for people who don’t have access to a computer strong enough to edit or have the want to learn software like that. I use the PS5’s record function for all of the games I play on it for reviews just because it’s so easy to do. The modern PlayStations are great and I’m glad you have such love for your 4. Nicely done mate. Believe it or not I've not played the Resident Evil games other than a cursory go at the first one waaaay back. They get a lot of love so I should make time to try them - I guess it's better to play them in order rather than jump in to Code Veronica? I did watch the first few movies and enjoyed them - Milla Jovovich may have been part of that reason tho 😂
Thanks man I can understand not knowing were to begin Resident Evil wise, especially as if you don't have the nostalgia the older titles could be quite difficult to enjoy nowadays, there's 3 eras essentially Classic Survival Horror RE 0123CVX, Action Horror RE 456Revelations1&2, then first person Survival/Action horror RE 7/8. I'd recommend starting from the beginning with Resident Evil REmake but for me they all have their enjoyable aspects and fun factors so can't go too wrong. Just remember to be patient with the old school ones, you're supposed to be stuck a few times especially on a first playthrough. If you do dive in best of luck buddy haha.☣️👁🍀

Ever try Gunbarich? It’s like Arkanoid, but with enemies, bosses, and more forgiving and fun. So it’s kinda sorta a puzzler, but more actiony.
