Please bring back the CLI Menu!! It was a life changer and made managing and configuring VLANS and trouble shooting a breeze. These CISCO style CLI commands are going to take time to learn and are a pain when you have to trouble shoot an issue.

oh my god yes.... this cisco style method is a gigantic pain in the aruba ass. I will not be buying ANY additional aruba products until they bring back the cli menu

Hello, is there any way to enable telnet on these switches (aruba CX 6300 for example)?. Great video!
is their anyway to dismiss the interface naming module as to just configure ports as port number instead of the 1/1/34 for port 34 . Currently using 2540 and 2530 aruba switches and its as simple as saying untag 34 to add a port as untagged to vlan. I don't do switch stacking so the 1/1/34 naming is useless to me and added steps when managing switches .
The new Aruba CX Operating System is using this new interface naming convention (switch/module/port) even if you are not stacking the switches and there is no way to change it.

The switch will be far behind several switches.
For example 2530 I can select Menu --> Switch Configuration --> IP Configuration and give an IP address and mask to manual.
Everything is so different.
I find the solution IP route.

You need to make sure the switch has a default gateway or a default route set - then you can access it from any other network.
New to Aruba networking. Does this switch have an equivalent in the Cisco world?
Not really a direct equivalent, closest match would be Catalyst 9200 series
hi, on my r8n89 switch I get "End of banner message from server" on the cli screen. Some commands do not work even though I am logged in as an administrator. In the web gui interface, pre-banner login appears. how can i fix this?
The error message seems to be SSH related. Please ensure Putty is connected via Serial.
