Thank you bro. Thank you got watching, I appreciate it. We’ll see how well I do next event hopefully i’ll have the rear diff swap and a tune for my altitude by then. Stock tune was pulling tons of timing top end.
Very nice. Great video. You did well against the silver intake and exhaust ISF considering it weighs about 3800 lbs to your 4400 lbs. The whole going from 1st to 3rd is all about timing. It only happens 1st to 2nd shift, but then 2nd onwards, it will hit rev limiter until you upshift. The transmission hits the rev limiter in the 1st gear and then it will upshift automatically to 2nd even in manual mode. If you click the paddle at the same time it is hitting the rev limiter. Auto shifting + your own 1st to 2nd shift will cause a double shift. The trick to avoiding that is, to set the beep to a few hundred rpms below the rev limiter. Around 7100 rpm is where I have set mine. If I shift right at the beep, even if it hits rev limiter a few hundred rpms later, my paddle click will take effect before the computer could command an upshift as well.
Its different on LCs. On my RC F, yes it does hit limiter in first gear. On the LC it never does. It auto upshifts right at 7000 for whatever reason. Im so used to the car hitting rev limiter on the RC F that i forget about the LC not doing that sometimes haha. That causes the car to accidentally upshift twice
plenty quick enough... I had a guy with a GSF wanting to race me we did a couple pulls... i was in my 2018 SL63 at the time.. He was excited to do a couple pulls on the highway... SL63's are rare and he gave me about 15 thumbs up after... Was fun
I was about to buy the LC a few years back and was very sad to find out it was not a sports car 😂 i love GT car but i wonder if i change the suspension and wheels if it will feel a bit sportier
😂 maybe it would feel a bit better . That weight will always rear its head in those corners though. That and the lack of oil cooler will have those oil temps rising quickly at the track. Maybe someone will make an aftermarket oil cooler set like they did for the ISF and we’ll be one step closer
I hear ya! But sometimes this V8 needs to sing. I take it on canyon roads, racing, cross country road trips, everything! All about creating new memories with this beauty!
This specific spec was 1 of 100. But overall i think they only produce a few thousand or less each year. I think 2017 and 2021 were 2782 and the other years there were less. At least thats what this article lexus wrote says
I'm very surprised you kept up with the isf it all comes down to the driver. Great video boss

Had a 2020 supra before my Lc500, don't miss it at all! Screw going the fastest, the experience is unmatched.
A slow experience
@@hpickettz34 which is fine, it is slow. Much more fun banging through the gears then going 0-jail in no time.

Fantastic video, so cool seeing your interior on YT. Always weird seeing the steering wheel on the other side of the car
Thank you bro!
You have to see this car in person to truly appreciate the design. It literally gives EXOTICS a run for their money!

@@javrabbit Interesting. Did not know that it does not hit the rev limiter in 1st to 2nd in LC. Cool info. Thanks.
No problem dude. Thanks for watching. I appreciate the views and your insight on clublexus RC F forums. Have a good day brotha!

Car is way too pretty to be out there but props for running it anyways. Literally the only lex id trade my gsf for (besides lfa ofc)
LC 500 is just a cruising beauty to me.
I like the 8spd Aisin, wish they took the time to utilize the 10spd for the RCF.

@@javrabbit I believe they added the trans cooler on the 2024 models. Maybe another mod you can do for yourself 👀
If thats true, i need to look i to that! 😂 those temps raise quick when doing canyon runs.
I’m getting the LC in two more years
man how did you speced the two tone interior?
All the Inspiration Series for the 2018 model year came with this interior. They never produced this awesome interior again.
Can't believe you're out there in a beautiful Inspiration Series. It's not made for that. You need to be cruising the coastline somewhere!

I understand you would find it hard to drive it flat out on the road, but I agree with the first statement it’s a grand tourer with an exciting feel.
Where are the Nissan Zs?
Good question. I dont think there was a single one there
@@javrabbit I've never seen one in person. I think the dealers like them too much to get rid of them.
@@cultofmodernism8477 haha could be. They also dont make many of them. Maybe between 2000-3000 each model year so they arent very common cars at all
How rare is a lc500?

It has already been discontinued in Europe. They're slowly getting rid of V8s ...moving to EV.
LC500 is a sport car
NOT A SUPER CAR
Its neither. Its a grand touring car 😂
I was told my 2018 SL63 wasnt a sports car lol... so no way an LC is a sports car
Good car… bad driver.
