Hello! Im digging with Tejon for 2 years. Try my settings:
Tone VCO( gives more info about target)
    Disc1 lil lower than iron.
    Disc2 lil upper than iron.
Sens in the beggining of red zone.
It will give maximum depth, and sens for lil objects like golden earrings, and tiny golden necklace.
Also i use this set for searching on the bronze age villages.
    Good luck

My vaquero makes a very short beep for bottle caps. I like that better than how the garrett's pro audio sounds for them.

The technology in the Vaquero and the Tejon are very similar, there a few added enhancements on the Tejon, but the sounds are very similar. I have found that Garretts pro audio is pretty good but its helped if you use iron audio, at least on the rusty bottle caps, not so on the aluminum screw caps.

Grommy Lommy I have a tejon and replaced the stock coil with a 8 1/2 rws factory coil and the depth increase was amazing this is the coil the tesoro units should come with

I love live digs :) I like the sounds the Tejon makes! You are detecting just like I do when i am looking for rings! Live digs though!!! I film all of my digs and for my vid I show all the good stuff and only a few junk digs.
Why does the tejon have such a long coil cable? Is there an advantage to that?

Good video..... Rock On Tesoro!!!!!! Quick question, how can I get one of those small red handle trowels? What brand are they and who makes them?

You can find them on eBay on Amazon and Kellyco but often the first two entries just point to Kellyco. So that's where you will end up.

I am trying to get id tones of different targets with my comprade . do you have any suggestions on knowing a good target from a bad one. I got into a field of trash yesterday , I thumbed the discrimination knob left and right , got frustrated and had some coffee. this was a great video but don't know how much could be used with the comprade

+George Bortnick Unfortunately there won't be any tone differential in compadre... Most of the Tesoro line are not VCO..so you will need to find your target thumb the discrimination and dig... beep and dig..it can be painful. Not that you can't master and love beep and dig, but even I who love beep and dig needs to get a little Target ID every once in a while to maintain my sanity. :)

It seems as though you weren't using your double discrimination in this video, would be much easier than turning the knobs up and down HH

Chevelle61265 I actually didn't plan to use the switch very oftenl. I tend to keep the alternate discriminator up at slightly above zinc.. And its a pain to reset that one, so I tend to still sometime crank and test on the primary discrimination and leave that one alone. Since I had beaten up that area pretty good already, I wasn't expecting a lot of high conductive targets, so I wasn't clicking over to alternate that often.. I hit a few which surprised me..
