Great lineup! I wish the "Interview" movie had kept the book scene where Louis and Claudia encounter the "feral" vampire in Eastern Europe, but getting to see Louis take out the arrogant French vampires made up for it. 😁 Anne Rice does play fast and loose with vampire "rules" -- book Louis isn't repelled by crucifixes, for example. I can't really remember anything about mirrors with certainty, but I wouldn't be surprised if she breaks that "rule" too. And Silence of the Lambs has always been a favorite. Can't really think of a single thing I would change about it -- other than maybe the minor goof where you can see shadows in the night vision sequence. 😁 Enjoyed the video. Hope you have a good one.
@@BryanM.R.-prionic1 I am looking forward to reading Interview With the Vampire one day. I don't own a copy but I am always on the lookout for a copy. There is an audiobook available on TH-cam and I might check that out before I find a copy. It is an interesting story in the vampire genre and I would really like to read that story. The next time I watch Silence of the Lambs I be looking for the shadows in the dark. It adds to the fun in watching movies when there are mistakes that you know about. I love the mistake in Star Wars when the stormtrooper bumps his head. Thank you for watching and your interesting comments. It is great to have you here!
I watched Evil Dead in '86 on a black and white portable t.v. hooked up to a VCR. I was outside by myself on a porch while my friend's parents partied. Total freak out for me being by myself. Some random guy kept checking on me. I was listening through headphones and couldn't hear him sneaking up on me. It was a pretty sweet setup for '86. Silence of the Lambs: not much, I can say. It's everything I want in a film. Acting, directing, and script. Top notch.
@@someothercharacter I was scared by The Evil Dead as well. It was terrifying when I first saw it. It is a great movie. Watching it on a black and white TV with headphones would be a cool experience. I can see hearing someone in the background giving you a good jump scare as you were watching that movie. I also agree with you on Silence of the Lambs it is a perfect movie. I enjoy every time a lot. Thank you for watching and your comments. It is great to have you here!
I love all 3 of these movies. I would rank them Silence of the Lambs as the best of the 3, Evil Dead would be the second best, and Interview of the Vampire as my least favorite
