    Sorry dude, The stage at Neyland is unmatched. All of college football across the country watched that game. Every fan from every team everywhere across the nation watched that game.

    Relevancy and timing do matter. C-MO's performance was amazing. I was super hyped and was pulling for him hard to hit the homer. However, we are 2 years removed from that Bama game and I still feel my blood burning orange watching Hyatt toast those bammer db's time and again. And I don't think we will ever have a better TD video than the dB on the ground as Hyatt storms across the field into a sea of screaming orange fans who were finally letting go of at least some of their BVS. I'm gonna go with Hyatt on this, but so much respect and admiration for C-Mo! #GBO

      As a Hyatt I approve this message 😆 both were outstanding but Neyland at night 3rd Sat in October and led to beating Saban led Bama... you don't beat that

    Something that is getting overlooked in the “best performance” debate is the fact that what CMO did was by himself against 9 opponents trying to stop him. He had to beat the pitcher and all of the defense without help from another teammate. What Hyatt did required Hooker to get him the ball to be successful. It required the lineman blocking their opponents to allow Hooker to get him the ball. Football and baseball are both team sports but in baseball has more man against man aspects to it that make his preference more impressive in my eyes. I will add that both will never be forgotten and I’m just glad that I got to experience the joy that both brought. #GBO

    Why are we even mentioning other sports while this baseball team is on the verge of playing for a natty? I’m the biggest Tennessee football fan you’ll ever meet. But I’m a university of Tennessee fan! When a major sport is on a title run, that trumps any offseason football talk! Let’s break down the pitching matchup. What’s the FSU pitching availability look like for this afternoon? Would Arnold pitch if the Thursday game is forced? There’s plenty of baseball to talk!!

      I mean you have to keep in mind football pays all the bills (which can be said for nearly all power 5 programs not named Vandy) I love baseball, I love it just as much as football but let's be real it doesn't have the same attraction as football I completely agree there is so much more to talk about with baseball at the moment but not everyone cares or wants to hear about baseball, most college sports related channels are strictly built around football therefore it will always get the main spotlight.

    I would say that they are both equally and uniquely dynamic! 🍊🍊🍊
    Skill level you would have to say C-MO but Jaylin Hyatt's skill level is speed, eluding, & catching!!! I don't think you can compare the 2!!! Both great performances but you just can't compare both because they are different sport's and athletic abilities! Both equally great. I do agree with you that C-MO's is in the playoffs. Either way, GBO 🍊 🍊 🍊

    Both amazing in different ways but if i had to pick.. Hyatt. It was against our all time rival who had dominated us for yrs AND they were coscjed by Saban arguably the goat coach who specialized in his DB coaching. Hyatt for sure. We will never see that again.

    Apples and oranges. C-Moo performance was spectacular. But Hyatt did something ridiculous against the best college program. Hyatts game against Alabama put him in the league.

    If you are a Tennessee Fan you cheer for all our teams. Yes I understand the football team Pays All The Bills, but it’s nice to keep kicking peoples butt during the football offseason.
    Also as a former athlete you all must understand. The more all sports are good the more Donations $$$$$$ are given because Donors have bragging rights across the country with their peers, and football benefits $$$$$ most.
    So watch the CWS, cheer the Orange, and be happy to listen to a little baseball news during the show. GBO!!!

    Cainer, your crazy. Christian was special but that win on Friday, he had a lot of help. Kavarez Tears, Blake Burke not to mention Dylan Drieling did a lot for that win. Jaylen Hyatt did the whole thing by himself. Plus Id argue veating bama for the first time in 15 yrs is more significant than a good game post season in Baseball. Not to take anything away from them bc im routing hard for them

      You got it backwards bro, baseball is a game that's built around 1 on 1 matchups each individual guy vs another what our other guys did on the baseball team had no effect on what CMO did (not taking away from what they did) football on the other hand is strictly a team effort sport, Hyatt might have got the separation against the guys covering him but it still required good blocking from the O-line (which we had) and very accurate downfeild passes from the QB (which we also had), i think the only fair way to compare this is grading it in terms of what was the better individual performance and what was the bigger overall performance.

    • @StatelineSportsPod
      @StatelineSportsPod 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Bubbles--- Thats fair... But I disagree. To win in sports you must score. Scoring is the most important thing, period. Hyatt scored 5 touchdowns in that game. Thats 30 overall points. Almost half of the points scored in that game. He also caught 75% of the passes to him, 6/8. While blocking and good qb play obviously matters, his seperation is just as important. You cant take that for granted at all.
      Pretty impressive imo. I also think its kinda dumb to dismiss the significance of the win itself to the overall fanbase. Its the significance of a win that makes it special.
      And while its batter vs pitcher in baseball, even if you are on base (whoch CMO was alot) you still have to lean on the other bats behind ypu to score. Its just as much of a team sport as football. CMO only hit one homer. That means he only did it by himself once. He had a lot of help. CMO made history but what he did was no where near as significant to his teams win as Hyatts.

      @solidfoundations7020 which is why I said the best way to debate this is seperating individual performance and overall performance, I definitely think what Hyatt done was much more monumental and "meaningful" to the program however again baseball is literally a game that's built around individual performances 1 vs 1 matchups, In baseball 1 person can literally carry a team (look at UF rn with Caglianone or NC with Honeycutt) I'm not saying other guys aren't as equally important in baseball I'm just saying regardless what our other guys did CMO still would have had the cycle, Hyatt wouldn't have had that type of performance without many different things working for us (OL and QB) obviously this a subjective topic but imo CMO had the best individual showing while Hyatt had the "bigger impact" performance, both are impressive in their own right

    What C-MO did was man against man, pitcher versus batter. Just think of how often a cycle happens in a year even against lesser competition. What he did was against what may be the second best team in the country at this time. Oh yea not to mention hitting a baseball is considered to be the hardest thing to do in sports

      You’re absolutely right, I’m not trying to under value Hyatts performance at all, just that what C-MO did is pretty incredible and I believe was a greater achievement. Both were mind blowing performances and deserve recognition

    • @Bubbles---
      @Bubbles--- 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah I think breaking it down individually in terms of sheer performance i would definitely give it to CMO but in terms of what was "bigger" then I would say Hyatts showing against Bama takes the cake just due to all the stuff surrounding that 1 specific game.

    • @volunteerd7758

      That’s a fair point as well, what that one performance did for him, the school, and the football program

    I still think Hyatt's performance was better. The stage was 100% bigger. 102k inside Neyland, 15 years of pressure, most watched game of the year. There was more eyes and more pressure in that game than any game in recent memory.

    ERIC YOU ARE WRONG. C-MO was awesome, but hitting the cycle is a luck stat. What is better hitting 3 HR and one triple or hitting the cycle? The only baseball people make hitting the cycle a big thing. What was very impressive was C-MO going 5 for 6. How long ago has it been since someone has been 5 for 6 in the world series. I would bet that others have been 5 for 6 in the world series much sooner than 1956! I get your point about about doing this in the world series is big. The game against Bama was huge. They were rank top 2 or 3. We had not beat them in 15 or 16 straight games. This led to the Vols ranked number 1. Which is rarer? A single player like Hyatt scoring 5 touchdowns in a single game against a very good Bama team or a player like C-MO going 5 for 6. My money is on a single WR scoring 5 TDs against a very good Bama team. If C-MO were to hit 5 HRs in the game, then we would have had more of a comparison. In my mind it is no question, Hyatt's performance is BETTER!

    C-mo is an unreal type of athlete. But Jaylin Hyatt righted the ship and scored 5 touchdowns downs against Alabama. The baseball equivalent of that is a cycle plus a grand slam.

    Wonder how many individual players have scored 5 TD’s on bama in a single game, I think that’s historic Cainer, but I agree C-MO’s is better to me based on they may win it all and he did it in the postseason but honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if he does it again this postseason, he’s that good
