But I kicked it. Hardest thing I ever went through. I told myself right then I never wanted to feel that level of pain ever again. 40 years tho…wow. Good for you on 30. It’s all about making good choices once you get through the initial stages of withdraw and then changing your mindset. Good to see some people on here talking about how long they’ve been clean. I wish you found out her history on education, hobbies, family history, education, and the series of events that led her to Kensington. There are so many highly educated people doing opiates on Kensington Avenue with so many fundamental job skills. I know a history of family members who are addicts can be a trigger to using,

We are all such fragile creatures underneath our armor of scars, and if we don’t start listening and caring about others, hope is lost. I have hope this young woman will escape the trap she’s been caught in. She seems like a bright, good-hearted, honest, tough person; no one deserves to be put through all she has. Nicole spoke about youtubers driving around to capture images of people at their worst. There's a fine line between creating a freak movie, and promoting awareness. I am going to unsubscribe from the creators looking to make a buck and not doing anything good for these people.

My clinic started me on 30 mg of methadone she just wasn't ready. Hopefully she gets out I did been clean since March with methadone maintenance and i.o.p and o.p program through the health department
It’s such a shame what goes on down there. But blame the mayor he literally told the cops to stand down and do nothing on Kensington Ave. I was looking for my daughter in law and went to a cop to show him a picture and he told me unfortunately e aren’t allowed to do anything 😡

Yes tranq is xylazine.. horse tranquilizer! Generic name is Rompum . I worked in horse business 30+years we used it allll the time. I’m also in recovery for 4 years.. never in my wildest dreams would’ve used xylazine!! An we would have bottles of it… when I found out they were putting this shit in it . I definitely wasn’t doing it.
Nicole, ask God to give that to you. The ‘want’ to wanna get clean. Pour your heart out to him. Go someplace that’s quiet and “Ask and it shall be given you, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened”. Patience and on Gods time you Will begin to see a diff in ur life. God Bless
How do you protect yourself some addicts would rob you blind or set you up. Not every addict but some may if they need to catch that High desperately .
I’ve been going to Kensington getting high on and off for 20 years. Nothing bad has ever happened to me. I just stay aware of my surroundings. I left Philly when I got off drugs in 2016
