@@perrydelrossi345 Thanks Perry. I'll be putting out some details on the Community page of this channel announcing when I would be scheduling the first live stream.
Hi Rich, My friend just sent me a text. He caught 5 short fluke yesterday and 7 today. Of the 7, two were keepers. He was fishing on the west side of the Russ Chattin Bridge at Corsons. Hope you have a good fluke season. Good luck, Mickey
@@FatDadFishing no chance of getting out this weekend. To many family commitments. Glad to see the fluke are in the back bay even if you had to wade through lots with f shorts
Yeah, I usually don't keep any striper, and that one looked to be short anyway. I actually caught another one today in the 25-27 inch range. They are still all over! Thanks for checking out the video and commenting!
That is awesome! Thanks for checking out the videos. I'm hoping to get down to that area again sometime in the next few weeks. If you ever see me out there make sure you say hi!
@@FatDadFishing yeah I was shooting for 20-23 foot at first got a few smalls and then went to 15 and got 1 keeper. The bite was tough I went yesterday but still had fun
I think the fishing has been hit or miss for much of the start of this season. I have yet to put together a "great day" so far this year. Hoping I can turn it around this weekend. I really fish all over but I do fish that area at various times during the year.
Thanks for posting, I am pretty sure I follow you as well on Salt Strong. I normally visit the LBI area of NJ a few times a year. Have not yet fished from a Kayak, but we trailer our boat and go after flounder near Barnegat Inlet.
I think we all need a kayak in our lives. Heck, I used to have a boat and decided I preferred the kayak for fishing. Never had more success in my life.
I lost my net and bought this one from Amazon. I got the 20" net and just used velcro to attach a section of pool noodle to it so it would float. : amzn.to/354Foyx
@@FatDadFishing i was actually looking at that one the other day lol. I saw a similar one at Dick's for $60! There was a lightning deal right now, I just saved 22%.... thanks!

YES Please! I am always trying to figure out where exactly you are since you never directly say and I think a live stream would be perfect!

That 23" flounder was nice!!! Great video!
Thanks Austin! Been tough conditions in the backwaters and that one fish made for a nice result for the day!
Another great video, thanks for sharing. Always learning....
It's all about continuing to learn and get better. I'm learning every week!
Excellent, excellent video!! Awesome narration. Outstanding information. Incredible footage!! Videography goals right here!!
Thank you! I try to make the videos as informative as possible. We'll have to get out together some time. Do you have a kayak, or just the boat?
@@FatDadFishing just a boat in the Manor.
Always informative 😊
Appreciate the content!
I really appreciate you checking out the video and commenting!
Great content as always. Good luck this season.
Thank you so much for checking out my videos and leaving me a comment! It's more appreciated than you know.

Good stuff! Trying to figure out exactly where I'm headed this weekend right now. Corsons has some great opportunities.
Another helpful video. Thanks Rich!
You bet! Hope your early season is going well!

Hurst tackle! My man Josh
I use Hurst Tackle for flukeballs and bottom sweepers. Best out there.
Keeper striper in NJ is between 28” and 38”. Nice vid!

Awesome videos my dude I fish Avalon and sea isle and wildwood back bay. I have a hobie pro angler 12 love watching your videos keep it up

Sweet fish!! Hoping to get out this weekend but getting slammed with orders, may have to work throughout
Gotta get those orders filled. As you saw...I'm now down one of your jigs. Darn striper took it! Will need to place an order soon.
@@FatDadFishing still hoping to get out, trying to pump these orders out
I'm going to 7 mile Island tomorrow hope I get some keepers
Head out in search of water between 7 and 15 feet to start. That's the ticket right now for the bite.

I fished that spot today we picked a few keepers
That's awesome! Were they on the shallow side of the drop, or deep?

Are you in back by Brig? Surf fishing myself hit or miss ,tight lines

Was this Saturday? I was in that area on my old town salty and think I passed by you guys.
Yes sir! I remember saying hi to you as you went by. It was a photic colored Salty, correct?
How did you do for the day?
Yeah! I had a slow morning but picked up a lot later in the day. Got a 22.5 inch keeper about an hour or two after saying what’s up.
It was a weird day. Nothing seemed to pan out correctly. Winds, tides, all the grass in the water. Well done figuring it out and grabbing dinner!

Yep, I'm also a member of the Salt Strong Insider club. I've fished Barnegat from the yak. Great area with lots of spots that can hold some monsters.
I need a kayak in my life! 🤔

I was tempted to buy a more expensive net but couldn't justify it. Just no need to spend a lot for a kayak net.
Absecon channel?
I was in your home turf!
