I have tried 3 times putting plants in my Leo’s tank and here’s what I’ve decided. Don’t get flat plants, plants that they can walk on. My leo has trampled and killed to many plants to count. I’ve had luck with jade, aloe, haworthia, and just taller succulents in general hope this helps some people so your gecko doesn’t kill a ridiculous amount of plants like mine
Awesome :) I think I did one about good and bad plants (ones i've tried and tested) however I didn't talk about loads of other plants that are safe for cresties, so maybe I can do one in the future :)
I'm doing a bioactive tank for my leo and I just sold all my succulents which I could've used in his tank and I'm so😤 but I kept my snake plant so I'm going to use that for sure and maybe pick up some echeverias. Thank you so much for these guides! This is super helpful.
With the Jade plant it’s 100% safe for reptile because of their slower digestive system, which cats and dogs don’t have. I have multiple in my BioActive tortoise enclosure and he occasionally nibbles at them and there’s never been a problem! Edit: Also with the air plants for an Arid enclosure get more thicker leaved Air plants and less leaves as well because they don’t require as much humidity/ water. In my BioActive lined day gecko enclosure I have 4 air plants which have thin and more leaves! And they are doing great!
Gotta say even most of your older videos are always helpful when I'm going back during tank upgrades. Forever grateful for all the work and experience you've shared with this community!

aloe seems to be a popular choice, but isn’t it a bit prickly for their sensitive skin?

Ik u commented this a long time ago, but how deep Is your substrate that they’re able to grow in it?
1. Aloe

7. jade plant/ money plant
8. Peperomia/ radiator plant
