Im gonna be doing a 7.3l godzilla swap in my foxbody. Want to put ac in the car aswell. Most of what you said about getting it wired would work but i have no way of using a iac kickup on the car as im not running a holley its a MARS auto control pack with no a/c functions included in it. So do i just not worry about a idle kick up on it and endure the stuttering idle or will it not work?
You could hide it with a higher non-ac idle for sure, may take another 100rpm or so. I had the car for about a month without the iac kick. It's way better with it but possible without it
So the ac won’t run on vacuum lines, my mechanic is trying to get me to get vintage air, because the factory ac will not blow as hard which is understandable and because it will have to be ran using vacuum lines is this correct or he just want the extra money
Where are you located? I'm in apple valley. I'm finalizing my wiring on my LS foxbody. AC is ice cold! Let me know if you're interested in seeing how I did my setup. I followed very closely to how @westcoastwrenchin did it.
Thanks for making this, helps a lot!
Great video I’m installing the same AC setup on my fox quick question what accumulator/dryer are you using?
@@davidbrutal87 oem foxbody 5.0

The vacuum in a foxbody is for switching the flap, not sure on your application
Is that low pro intake manifold limiting your power ?
Possibly?
It’s the same on a Chevy with 6.0 swap ??
I would like to install the ac .
Yes
Is there a way make this work on a ls3 with the e38 ecm
@@judondatruth106 yes the ecm isn't involved except for the iac kick. You could do it without the kick
what did you do about an orifice tube or metering device?
I cant remember, theyre stock lines!
Do u have a shop? I’m in Southern California. I need someone who can install it for me.
I don't sorry
