Tracks like this make me feel incredibly lucky to be alive. You see, nearly 14 billion years ago, "nothing" (or maybe "something") suddenly expanded it's compressed fury. If a few trillionths of a second, a couple of Fundamental Forces became 3 or 4, which then cooled into 17 or so universe expanding quantum fields. Those fields interacted to give us the particles that make up our entire universe. 13.8 billion years later, in an obscure little place lost in that vastness, some of those particles, for a time, became Ben Bohmer, and Ben caused some other particles to coalesce into this beautiful track, which founds its way to the particles that are me and my senses. Simply incredible. And I got to experience that cosmic beauty and randomness. Truly blessed. Thank you, Ben. It's enough to make you weep joyfully.

I was first introduced to Ben via his Cercle set. Then and now, what I like is his enthusiasm for the music, how it physically moves him. He takes what I personally find a sterile type of electronic music, with the click track percussion that's so prevalent these days, and gives it life and heart.
So it's obvious that this is just one small part of a full recorded set... right? Ben's sound really shines when given more time for his progressive, slow-build style to deliver big payoffs, and while this track delivers huge Summer nights vibes and big nostalgia feels, I'd really like to hear how it works with the full movement it's obviously just a small part of. Can't wait for the album (and especially this set!) to drop! Love Ben Bohmer!!
