For the first time I see someone taking good care of their expensive units. So many times I see space marines throwing the Land Raider to the front line or the IG throwing the Baneblade to the front line. Relic units are powerful but they are not indestructible, I like how the Orc player took good care of the Squiggoth pulling it out of combat when things get ugly.
Very solid game to watch, I was really banking on the necrons in the beginning of the match. I am a little sad that you didn't take the time to check the economy of the necron player more often though; probably a side effect of all those team games where you haven't go the time!
Alright... so, I would assume at this point of my watching DoW multi-player it is not, in fact, good to reinforce/try to build a big army early? Is there just less resources on the map for 1v1? I'm genuinely curious because I kind of do want to try my hand at actual PVP at some point in Unification.
You need to balance economy tech and army. You usually only fully reinforce in or just before a pitched battle. If you got fully reinforced squads tyat you dont use you will get behind in tech and eco. In pvp you dont have time to sit back and build up eco and army. The fighting starts almost right away.

Great game! First time watching Focus in vanilla! Verry good game from both sides I couldn't have told you the outcome of this game it was sooo close!

It's soulstorm, not unification or ultimate apocalypse so the models and textures suck more if thats what you mean
