Greg,we look so forward to seeing you on Thursdays. A true highlight. So many wonderful pieces of history found. My favorite was the parking token. Take care my friend.👍👏😀🇺🇸
I love watching your videos. You're always commenting on digging all good signals. I hate zinc pennies, but I dig them anyway. I know a lot of people don't. I know this because of the great things I find going behind them. Just last week detecting an old sawmill sight dated late 1800's to early 1900's, I got a 62 tone on my 900. I ended up with a key date silver five cent coin from Canada. It was dated 1915 and its 925 sterling. It finds like that that keep me hunting.
Thanks for the story about the parklng meter,it was cool. I like all of the old photos you show. The one with the three hunters was back when they did not have limits . They where over the limit. Take Care.
Great finds and history lesson on parking meters. Thanks!
Great hunt Greg! Thankful for the rain here in the area! You do an amazing job finding visual examples of everything you find. I don’t how you do it with such few clues sometimes! This makes your videos exceptional. Very much enjoy your channel!
Still grabbing good finds out of there! Well done.
Nice bit of Diggin for sure. Im glad you were able to get out to Find America this week Greg!!!
Excellent episode! Fantastic finds, great photos and I loved the Digging Deeper segment on the parking meter .
Gotta love the railroad spikes 😉 Great hunting, Greg. 😊
Another great episode and the parking meter story was very interesting! Well done, Greg!!!
Those old typesets always remind me of printing class in school. I miss those days. That coin meter token is cool. Congratulations on that Merc and lovely, green IHC! Great hunt, Greg!
Great video! It's good to see that the manticore delivers. I enjoyed hearing about the parking meters. Good stuff Greg.
Here watching 👀 always enjoy your finds . Never seen a token like that Awesome..love the history lesson old times were probably the best...
I always enjoy your history lessons; I learn something in every video.
I love finding a merc. I know I'm not gonna get rich digging them but I really like the design. They always make me smile. Another great video, buddy.
Fantastic finds 👌🏻
Thanks 👍so much Brenda!
Great dig! Loved the digging deeper!
Great job Greg! Enjoyed the history of the parking meter!
Great going. Getting your steps in will keep you healthy, wealthy & wise. Enjoy your professionalism.
Great episode Greg!
Nice work Greg!!!
Great finds
Thursdays my favorite day. Awesome hunt greg
Good stuff Greg! Nice IHP and Merc!
Like the soap tin and the pic of the kid in the pail. Reminds me of hanging the water hose over a tree limb and taking a shower in a #5 wash tub at my grandparents when I was a kid. Lol
Great detecting Greg, it's good to learn something new everyday, today it was the parking meters. Thanks for the entertainment
That meter token got me too. I've never dug or even knew these existed. Very cool.
@generaldisarray4146 same here and I agree...very cool
The manticore is an awesome machine.
Enjoyed 👍
Good show Greg had day mix up
I love learning new things. Interesting finds. And old or new.....I loooooove digging up coins. Lol. I suppose my most interesting find in my yard was a parking token. Looking it up......I found out it's the very first type parking token ever made. I thought it was neat at least. Lol
Well done Greg! I have yet to dig an Indian cent... however, I managed to dig a 1882 Mogan Silver Dollar S yesterday. It was a beach find and clearly been tumbling in the surf for a 100-years. Great find even if a bit worse for wear 😂.
Great job .goes to show you No Place is Ever Hunted out..
Love the video
I sure wish you could have some of our rain from down here on the east coast.
The top to the medal you found at 10:28 looks to be a GAR (grand army of the republic) souvenir medal Greg. I found a photo of one that I will send you for the 41st national encampment in Saratoga, NY
Good digs
Aluminum soap carrier, I have one like it that my great uncle may have used in WW1 or at least when he got home.
boom .. one of my favoritest channels ... coffee time... let's go let's go treasure and adventure ✌👵
hi! I have dug a coin meter token for a hospital parking lot. which is on longer around. cool.
Hey Greg how are ya! I really enjoy your Digging Deeper discussions. I did not know that about parking meters. I pictured people back then playing cards in those spots I bet that sight was very funny to some!! 😂
Indian head cents were copper and tin, so they ring low. Early wheat cents were copper tin and zinc, so they sometimes sound pretty close to Indians. Later on they stopped using tin, so they ring higher.
I recommend wearing a cooling vest. Amazon sells some that are affordable.
What's the oldest coin from your history of digging?---I loved hearing the history of the parking meter! I once read about the lady who first identified the need for traffic lights!---And wow, you found a picture of that souvenir! Very impressive!
I really enjoy all your videos, Greg. @11:25 Was that picture with the Souvenir bar of "Fighting Bob Evans" medal your own medal or was it an online image? I collect Fighting Bob Evans medals like that and would be interested in learning more. Thanks!
Please do a video on how your cleaning your coins.
over from Ohio River.
Thanks Don! Much appreciated.
Never found that token
What do you mean by a 42 over 41?
Does that say Goody?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
The crazy one I found was for a pack of cigarettes
