Yep. Europe needs the boost more than we do. We're growing at 14% with no sign of slowing down. I did miss you spectating the Des Moines Challenge this last weekend tho :) Plenty of others there, tho.
As an european, playing a couple of times a month with my friends, I can say that it makes a differens with the top players coming to europe. My friends and I talked a lot about him being here, and it felt speciel and not so distanct as watching jomez coverage in US. (I love the jomez coverage btw). Also with Ulibary playing in copenhagen where im from, gives the feeling of an united comunity, instead of a feeling of a slight mystification. Thanks to all the people who makes a difference, and big thumps up to the goat for the work outside the courses. Hope to see many different top tier players outside the US in the future - as how im enjoying James Proctor on the EU leadcards now!
Wow! Just ran across this and was not aware it was coming out. Great insights. Nice coverage of Croatia and the DiscGolf scene in Europe. Really enjoy how Paul shares his personal self on this video and others I’ve seen. Would’ve been nice to know what the one thing he found wrong in his throwing that made all the difference.
Paul, the most important part of what you are doing is giving joy and good health to a lot of people, I really envy you that! The world doesn't need another corporate sport, looking at you DGN.
@@SPINNINGMYWHEELS777Worship? 😂 You obviously DON'T know the meaning of the word! To me Ken Climo is the GOAT, but it's true that Paul has done a lot for disc golf than any other player. With his foundation & putting in disc golf courses all around the world. Current society? 😅
@@WAPticon lmao you just showing you don't watch or pay attention because he says Paul does more for disc golf which is indeed the truth. Just hating to hate 😂
Amazing! Still remember being in the crowd following McBeth’s card in the Preserve about 3 years ago even though he wasn’t the lead card but all the four competitors to me just looked liked “giants” and I was like damn wish I was that big so I can throw just as far lol. Amazing!
I've been to a couple of tournaments that Dinko, Tina and Adrien organized, they're nice people. It's cool to see them get some exposure, they put a lot of effort into it.
they will get more viewership now while everyone is already locked in on the tour content. you may think that everyone is just CRAVING any disc golf content in the offseason, but thats not really true. peoples interests change, and its better to strike while youre hot so to speak. viewership declines dramatically in the offseason for pretty much all disc golf content unless you are a really hardcore fan. makes much more sense to drop it now in between tournaments while people are already engaged and waiting for the next tourney.
@@macdietz His reasoning strikes very well with me, as I haven't followed or been craving any disc golf content while being in off-season. Recently however I started playing alot again and as a result I have also consumed alot more disc golf content on yt.
Yeah Joey! What an awesome project. Showing Paul and many others in such a unique setting ....... these are the people that are going to help DG survive in the future. Tina? Superstar.
Ok just watched this and honestly it’s pretty moving. I had some weird notion about Paul the last couple years because of other friends and just one of those, omg he’s winning literally everything and it wasnt necessarily anything about him but more of just wanting to see someone else win. Basically Gannon this year. This was really well done though and changes my perspective on him as a person. Just wow, what a G. Props to McBeast. I’ll definitely be watching the rest of this series.
I have followed Paul on watch him play when he was with Innova. And now I know why is struggling. Hope you get those pieces back together and see you win more tournaments. Keep it up Paul we here for you. Shout of also to Jomezpro and Dinko.
They're also the ones who brought Disc Golf Valley to the scene. I personally know literally dozens of people who started playing disc golf because of that game so there must be thousands.
24:40 Some people will take this as arrogance. But it simply is not. Paul knows his importance and impact and knows he has kids and youth who look up to him. It is like when someone signs an autograph. Look at what he is doing with the sport.
Big shout out to Joey T for the directing and filming, I know he's been grinding with the Jomez crew for a while, I really hope he develops into a full-time DG producer or similar.
I love watching FPO Euro events on You Tube. Paul is doing more to foster the sport the world over than anyone else. I wish Paige Pierce would travel with him to give the females a chance to emulate her and bring girls into the sport.
Im hoping paul will start working harder to get back in shape and get his game back to top tier again. The competition has gotten better but I think paul still has it in him if he gains that will power to to go out there and win more major championships. Rickys still hungry so why not Paul?
because Ricky doesnt have little kid at home. Priorities change. He already has the dough, tbh if he decided to go on hiatus with DGPT and focused on spreading DG in the world with his foundation I am sure most of his fans would totally understand. I know I would.
@jaccob73 no excuse he's still young and in his prime, believe it or not. lebron was out there winning championships with multiple kids. And way more dough then paul. And a way busier schedule. Lol. So what you expect him to spend the rest of his career focused on a foundation? And not winning any more major championships? Is that what you want to see as a fan?
@@GStat7lebron is an anomaly in all of pro sports, very few keep up their prime so long. Plus lebron prob spends as much on conditioning and rehab on his own each year than Paul has made in his career.
That's not many courses, but you also have to remember that Croatia is smaller than West Virginia. Oddly enough, the average resident there also makes about 1k a month.
I’m a fan of Jomez and McBeth, and it pains me to say that this just wasn’t it nor was it up to the normal Jomez quality. The structure was wonky, the multiple break ads for PMF scattered were jarring, the b-roll shots didn’t always correlate with what was being said in the interview audio, there were multiple audio level issues, the background music choices were distracting at times, and ultimately it didn’t seem to really focus or build on the main point being the effect a player like McBeth can have on the Euro scene and in local Euro locations. I hope anyone reading this will take it for what it is, feedback. Also, just my personal opinion which I understand doesn’t represent everyone’s opinion.
Maybe the reason why they release it now. As Jeff Spring mentioned, its a learning curve. Im always for them releasing it with 'lower standards', instead of not releasing it
Agreed. Fun to watch, but feels like a well-done vlog. The alternate location self-serving cut-ins from Jeff Spring feel super forced as well. Tough for the editors to do much more with the random footage they were provided.
Great video! My reaction, is that I feel like he has to many distractions going on. It is the same with all sports and movie stars, when you get to a certain level. I think he needs to take a step back from Paul the face of Disc Golf and focus more on Paul the player. But what do i know? I just started playing after watching Jomez for a few years, he is the GOAT, he has done this for a long time.
Probably takes a while to edit an entire 7 part series and they'd want to have all 7 episodes ready before releasing the 1st episode to ensure a consistent release schedule and a complete product.
I've watched every one of your videos for the past 6 years. This is without a doubt the worst. I like Paul but wtf are you thinking? Sorry. I love you guys and thanks for all the hard work over the years.
Is the McBeth effect when you eat too many big macs and get complacent driving your McLaren, finish mid pack at some tournaments, realize youre kinda washed up and flee to Europe to embark on a "European Tour"
I'm sure Paul is having the time of his life traveling the world helping the sport grow but it's a shame he is wasting the last few good years he might have had to actually compete at a high level. I wish Paul McBeth was more present.
