HAAAAAAWWWWWDDDD HAAAAAMMMM that was a great video!!! The world needs more Flint and Vance collaborations! Thanks guys for the high quality reviews, videos, and comedy. @ToolReviewZone @VCGConstruction
Good job Clint. Love the video. I have the Bosch 12 Volt version of the Skil. I use it regularly. Having all of those attachments for the drill is very handy. Skil has come a long way in the last couple of years. Thanks again Clint.
It’s great to see “Vance”in your video Clint! I also wanted to point or that the Milwaukee install tool for that higher price is 12V, which can potentially make the SKIL more powerful at 20V
I bought the auto hammer from skil and i am totally impressed with the quality and usability of that tool. I used it doing a repipe to drive talon anchors in tight areas, i have also used it for j hooks on drain work. My plumber brethren know how awkward it can be to put hooks on floor joists with tin and other obstructions, the auto hammer is a god send. Good on you skil.
@ericnichols9275 got mine from Amazon during the early black Friday sale for $56.00, with battery and charger. I don't know if it's worth $150 but it is an excellent tool.
It's actually nice that somebody offers this in a 20 volt/18 volt configuration everybody else is 12 volt. Milwaukee DeWalt and Bosch are all 12 volt. Sometimes you need more power than 12 volt can do and for those of you that do here is a pretty good option. I have their new 12 volt new and improved impact driver that came with a 2 amp hour battery and a usb-c charging port needless to say it replaced my 12 volt dewalt xtreme. It's got a couple hundred more inch pounds and sure drives fasteners and nuts a lot faster. Skill seems highly underrated. It may be Lowe's answer to home depot's Ryobi. As far as the demographic of tool users they're trying to reach but I'd go skil over Ryobi any day
Glad you enjoyed the video and I'm flattered to be your "FAVORITE" reviewer, Since TRZ doesnt seem to be answering comments please accept this ❤as a token of my appreciation!
I genuinely was not expecting that last detail about the battery. It's actually genius! It'd take up less space, you don't have to worry about another battery platform charger, it'll function as a fast charger for phones (Samsung can do 45W/pixels avg 30-37W/iphones are I think 20 iirc?). The only other drill that comes even smaller and they upgraded to brushless is Bosch, same exact concept albeit on a 12v platform. But it's almost half the length of the milwaukee or even the Skil, but also expensive... Still interesting!
Well done our hero, you got through having Vance spoiling your great review and coped really well. I needed more drink than you but I am ok now, Keep it up Clint your the best 😎
It has been a long time since Vance was on the Toolie Review Zone. Crown (any whiskey) out of the Freezer is a great go to for dealing with difficult people. The I don't care and/or I don't give a carp kicks in!!!!
Skil used to be considered the best. Most of us old timers still call every circular saw a skil saw no matter what color. Sort of like all facial tissue is called a Kleenex.
wow 20v and still no impact head attachment... the rubber usb c cover is soft and wimpy and doesn't stay in the plug unlike the covers on most cheap no name brand power banks. the chuck needs a proper lock to reduce strain on the plastic direction lock and provide an even better hold on bits. so far, i haven't used it much yet but i like it quite a bit despite those 3 issues.
Basically the same tool as the Dewalt 12v, and similar to Milwaukee detail driver, and other versions. Does not seemed as refined as the versions mentioned.
*_Possibly the BEST, MOST Informative Video ever published to the Tool Review Zone Channel!_*
Always good talking to you Vance

Definitely stepping it up brother
I bet next year all the big names will come out similar drills, great video

And it's only $150 from ACME TOOLS

Something I'm not going to need every day BUT when I need it, it will be:
REEEELLL.... NICE LIKE!!!!💪

Cheers my brother
Similar to the one Milwaukee has had out for a few years but without the funky handle. I like it.
Great video
Bro!!!!! You had me choking on my coffee. Awesome looking tool, and how many cheese steaks did that cameo cost ya?? Lol..
Haha, thanks brother. And the answer is 4.....4 cheesesteaks
Using it for mailbox quick install

Vance doesn't really like me that much. Those vegans are a bit touchy
@@VCGConstruction OH MAN OH MAN!!! Talk about lighting candle at both ends!!!!
I have the Bosch version of this tool and I really like it because of the size. I like skill tools but they almost look like the size of a 20v tool
Definitely picking one up
Milwaukee makes one of these. It's been out for a few years.
Skil used to be considered the best. Most of us old timers still call every circular saw a skil saw no matter what color. Sort of like all facial tissue is called a Kleenex.
Price is actually pretty close to the dewalt.
This is a Bosch System they hade it for olmost 10 years.
I could see buying dozens of the angels and making a crazy curly Q drill ......
That's how I install kitchen cabinets at work from my lazy boy chair at home
Seems like a Jobmax.
Bravooooooooooooo❤❤❤

I love my Skil 12v tools ….people sleeping on the NEW Skil brand because of the BAD years Bosch owned them …..
