The execution itself may be respectful, but you are stalling someone for an entire minute when they could be playing the game. And god forbid long executions on breach
Thats a balance issue, not a player issue. It’s not an unintended mechanic, executions are marketed as a method of keeping an opponent out of the fight for longer. Nothing disrespectful about using the tools at your disposal to try and win a game.

For my main law since they fit (I play on console) press X=the stomp hold X=longshot press Y=horserider hold Y=resounding defeat I know it’s a bit rude but it fits lawbringer and they go from quickest to slowest thank you for coming to my law talk have a good day

Gotta pay attention to what the character says too. There’s one that people use as Lawbringer as a “disrespectful” execution, but he actually says “You were a good fighter, rest now” or something along those lines.

Well put. I gotta say this game became a lot more enjoyable when I stopped getting mad about perceived slights. Some players are legitimately trying to piss you off, but when you realize that they’re just trying to get a reaction out of you and you just don’t give them the satisfaction and keep cool, you’ll be less pissed when you lose and you’ll feel like a god when you win.

uhm... that "Stay down" part of the execution is literally the executor spitting on you after it stomped you for 30 minutes. Honestly, the only character that I really hate getting executed by are pretty much all of Kyoshin.

I remember doing that one Wolf or Sheep execution with Warmonger. I ran into a streamer and always hit him with it. Dude was screaming cursing me out that whole match 😂 I don't blame him. That execution takes AGES
There is a berserker exe cannonball kick (? going from memory) that lands the opponent face down ass up, then the zerk spam flip emotes behind the body... might be the biggest disrespect. That said there are some disrespectful peaceful ones, like the universal samurai one that makes the opponent commit an assisted seppuku. I always put my salty long exes on hold Y for people that are rude, but I'm personally never triggered by an exe unless it's just long enough to put me down on breaking.

You that outfit and the effect that released along side the gudmonder skin has a very similar sort of aura when valkyrie does the "Valhalla sandoff" it might be coincidence but it could hint that she might be getting the new hero skin.
@JamesWheeler-sk5nc Possibly! A lot of us, including me, are blinded by that VG Hero skin placeholder they "accidentally" teased in the Warrior's Den when they were showing a material. If you saw the Outlander hero skin ep. 1 I did, you'll see it. So I'm that skewed me to think VG, but I hope you're right! That was my first thought as well. 4:01 Gonna push back a little on this point. I think the majority of players are just vibing, but there are players who enter a state of rage / toxicity, get their egos caught up in the game, and make it a personal altercation where they won’t be content unless they humiliate or dominate another player. It's the nature of any competitive activity where the desire to have fun becomes the desire to dominate. Side note, one of the WORST executions is Berserkers drop kick that leaves you ass-up face-down. I don’t think I need to elaborate 😂
So in my opinion, I typically use short executions because I do feel like some can take *forever*. I've built a habit by playing dominion for so long that I hate down time. I like to constantly be doing stuff, so even if it's the last guy Alive I'll still do my fastest execution because I myself want to get back to playing ASAP

Oddly enough, I think even respectful exeuctions can have some disrespect behind them. One particular moment brings me back to Season 3 when Gladiator came out, and some Warden main trash-talked me to no end. At the end, he exe'd me with Warden's prayer execution and continued to gloat. Maybe that particular moment jaded me at the time, but I do my best to just keep quiet and continue on.

I appreciate the respectful ones a lot more than others myself. I like the lantern one myself. Just release that soul to the heavens! I do wish the length of the execution had some impact on how long it took someone to respawn. Where longer ones added a second or two to the respawn time. Cause I hate those quick ones. I think they are lame. If you're gonna execute me, execute me rightly, brother! 😅

This game ain't fun enough to not get angry when you get executed in certain ways. Hell, i never had to create an actual "quit on sight" list in any multiplayer game and yet For Honor managed to give me an anxiety attack because I tried too hard to not rage. Edit: the attack was because my opponents team was Orochi, Nobushi, Hitokiri and Shaman. That was too much even just to see.

As a Warmonger main I only use the execution Slaughter of Sheep for toxic players every other executions I use on other players if I need the health.
The unarmed fighter where you spit in the opponent at the end is the most toxic can’t change my mind💀💯

Resounding defeat should be removed from the game. By encouraging disrespectful play you poison the community to be more toxic.
